Exactly. So much anger and finger pointing. That's energy that could be used elsewhere. It's also a misinterpretation of the article which simply says one out of four homeless people are women. Sheesh!

Okay, I have obviously touched a nerve. That wasn't my intent, however, there is no need to swear at me. I get enough of that at work. You misunderstood, I think. I was not implying that it's easy to get off the streets, I was responding to the OP. His claim is that men have it tougher than women when it comes to services for the homeless, I disagree. The ad was attempting to open the eyes of those that are under the impression that homelessness is for men only. I agree with you on the paperwork…

Just a comment re: the glass bottom. I believe that the rules differ from state to state. Here in Cali, Los Angeles specifically, there is a huge homeless population. A homeless child (excuse the expression) trumps an adult, always. A woman with a child trumps men. However, there are a cornucopia of shelters in L.A. that co-exist; men's only, women and children only, women no children, etc. There are more men that are homeless. There are more women that remain with their children even after coll…
