I mean... this is what happens in capitalism. Women are naturally disadvantaged when it comes to relationships (pregnancies and such) and have therefore evolved to be highly selective in relationships. Men are the opposite, they're blessed with physical superiority that allows them to perform more tasks than women are able to. Thus, women were still seeking the help of men in dealing with all sort of issues (e.g., their inability to provide for themselves). However, in modern capitalism, there i…

The world is equal by definition... both genders are playing their cards at improving their positions and this is the statue-quo of nature (I'm not sure what you're debating to be frank... hope this is relevant)

It is slowly changing, but generally speaking men usually have more "high statues" surnames, simply because men benefit more from statues and are thus chasing it. Being born to a "higher statues" family is a net benefit, which is why traditionally the surname is taken after the father.

I'll go even further and claim that women also benefit more from long term relationships with men than vice versa but with a catch (or two). The average married man is generally more competent than the average married woman (a fact, a married man is an above average in many disciplines, but this it not true for the average women). Thus the average married man is MORE USEFUL to the woman than vice versa. There are actually two catches: 1. Women are naturally disadvantaged from the mere possibilit…

Try to define "confident"

True... but you won't appear as "fun to be around" or "competent" if you're ugly... (note that what you find ugly is not necessarily what women find ugly)

You are not really disagreeing with what he said. Surely some people do not know how to behave, but the attractive guy can learn to do that, the ugly can not.

Try to define those notions. When is someone self assured and when is he arrogant? When is someone calm, and when creepy\quite\shy? when is someone not nervous and when apathic? These have a lot more to do with appearance than you believe.

If you try to define "social skills" and "social tact", you'll end up with one of these few options: 1. Most people, male or female are bad at those. 2. Most people male or female are decent at those. 3. It has more to do with someone's appearance than you initially thought. Now don't give me a wikipedia definition - a propert definition should only be interpertent in one way (reasonably) and should be understood roughly the same by most people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
