Feminists will support any idiot who supports abortion. Hell, they would support Islam if Islam promoted abortion.

Religion precedes morality means that morality comes from, proceeds from, the idea of God. There is no right and wrong without God because you have to have an objective supreme judge for any statement of morality to make sense. It makes zero sense to say that YOU think a thing is immoral or I think a thing is immoral because we are not supreme judges. That is my point. Fucking hell so daft.

I’m only claiming one thing Einstein: morality is either objectively true or it’s only subjectively true. For it to be objectively true, there has to be God. If there is no God, then all morality is subjective and you may not, must not, can not claim that anything that you disapprove of is “wrong”. If there is no God, then no thing is morally wrong, it is only “something that you don’t like”.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 10:24 PM

That’s about the worst argument against God that I’ve ever heard. Congratulations. Care to explain how anything can be right or wrong in a world without God? Do tell…..

There are economic conservatives and social conservatives. Thus there are four main groups that do battle. Most feminists are both economic and social liberals. There are of course exceptions. MRAs are divided between socially liberal, socially conservative, and economic liberal and economic conservative (libertarian economics). Thus we don’t present a united front.

If there’s no God, then there’s no objective morality. If there’s no supreme Judge, then there are only opinions. It’s that simple.

I don’t hate atheists. I said, now pay attention, that atheism qua atheism is not a moral code, it makes zero moral claims, and is not a basis for any moral code. See how details matter? You’re jumping to crazy conclusions. Holy cow pay attention.

Read the two accounts, there is no contradiction. The basic points are the same: God created the universe. You DO believe in the first law of thermodynamics? Matter and energy do not self-create, and most cosmologists believe that the universe had a beginning, a time zero. Deal with it. Free will is real, do you think yourself to be an automaton? If we don’t have free will, then you can’t blame people for being slave holders. You’re not too smart….
/r/MensRights24/09/23 12:55 AM
1

The point is that you have no basis for declaring slavery wrong whatsoever. None! Only a moral code that exists in the mind of God can be a moral code to which we should give obeisance. Animals have no compunction about infanticide or rape or murder, but Man is not just an animal, and we have to live according to God’s laws. We are all hypocrites. You probably accept abortion. You’re on the wrong side of history if so, and in 100 years they will think of you as just as monstrously evil as slave …

Lol. The so-called two creation stories are really not incompatible in any significant way. God gives us free will. If God knew that Hitler would do what he did, you blame God. Ok, so would you prefer having been made a robot? Or would you like to have free will…..

A). You don’t know how many slaveholders were Christians. It was Christians who forcibly abolished the practice world wide. That’s a fact. It was not any other group. It is still practiced in the Middle East and the far east. B). Christianity preaches “do unto others”. Please tell me any ideology that literally tells its adherents that “whatsoever they do to others, they do unto God Himself”, and for which they will be held responsible. That’s a bracing thing to believe in. C). Atheism is compat…

You read a history book or two. Christians abolished slavery. Period, dot. “On 22 December 1741, Pope Benedict XIV promulgated the papal bull "Immensa Pastorum Principis" against the enslavement of the indigenous peoples of the Americas and other countries. Pope Gregory XVI in his bull In supremo apostolatus (issued in 1839) also condemned slavery as contrary to human dignity.” That there were people who called themselves Christians who owned slaves only proves that hypocrites exist. The Bible has lots of books with various genres of writings. Some are history, some are laws, some are stories the nature of which are possible true or allegories, some are fables. The New Testament is the four gospels which are historical accounts, letters by St. Paul and Peter and John, history of the acts of the apostles, and an abstruse writing called “Revelation”. You really haven’t learned much but you do have strong opinions based on very little. That’s not a good way to go through life, …

A). I don’t believe that there was an ark that held all the animals, that makes no sense. There likely was a flood, and there likely was a man named Noah who made a boat, and he survived the flood. Beyond that I don’t know and don’t care. Not all Bible stories are literally and totally true, they are stories that the Jewish people kept from their past and that taught lessons. B). Um, slavery in Great Britain and America were stopped by force by Christians. Look up William Wilberforce. Slavery is still practiced in non Christian lands to this day. Christianity preaches “do unto others”. What does atheism preach? Oh yeah, nothing.

No, that is false. Jesus corrected many of the misconceptions that the Israelites had about God the Father, and he corrected those misconceptions. You don’t know the texts at all; they are nothing like the Quran.

I already agreed that you can be moral workout believing in God. You’re beating a dead horse. My point is that there is no objective morality unless there is an objective mind by which to judge morality. Your mind and my mind are just opinions. God’s opinion in the only one that can create an objective morality. If there is no God, there is no right or wrong, there is just animals being animals. Some are violent, some are peaceful, none are good or bad morally speaking.
/r/MensRights23/09/23 09:46 PM

Some people don’t give a damn about morality, and my point is the the existence of God makes them objectively wrong in His eyes. They will reap their reward, not as a punishment and not as an incentive to be good, but because they CHOSE it, and because God IS. I’m arguing for an objective morality, like saying that gravity exists. Gravity is a fact. Morality is a fact, but it can only exist as a fact if God exists as a fact; anything else would just be the opinions of advanced chimps, and opinio…

You’re using the Old Testament and not the new by which to judge Christianity. That’s your first mistake. Your second is to assume that I am saying that nobody can be moral except under threat. I said no such thing. What I said, was, is that things are objectively right or wrong, independent or your opinion or mine, and that objective opinion is the Supreme Judge, God.
/r/MensRights23/09/23 09:29 PM

If we are ontologically equal to animals, we may behave as animals. No thanks. You have no basis for telling me what is right or wrong. None. It’s just your opinion. But if God exists, it’s His opinion . Big difference. It’s like the law: you might not like the law, but the law is what a judge says that it is.

Say what you will, but history has shown that atheistic communism has killed more people than any other ideology in history. And pagans who did not believe in religions as we understand them did human sacrifice routinely. You’re swimming in a sea of Christian sensibilities which you now take for granted. Not everybody believes in “do unto others as you would have done unto you”. You’re benefiting from the cultural changes and moral sensibilities brought by Christianity into the world.
/r/MensRights23/09/23 09:04 PM
2

Talk about taking a quote out of context. A sword divides. The point of the text is that Jesus came to divide the righteous from the unrighteous. No violence was ever committed by his apostles. Christianity does not allow for aggressive violence, it only allows for defensive wars. You’re either intentionally lying or very misinformed.

The pagan world was a disaster. Roman Empire anybody? Druids? Aztec human sacrifices? Mayan death cult? German barbarian hordes? Vikings raping and pillaging? Communist genocides? No thanks, I’ll take a world that has imbibed Christian sensibilities over many many centuries. You swim in a sea of Christian sensibilities but you’ll never recognize the water. Animals are not very good to each other, sorry. They might have a social pecking order, but that’s about it. Rape and pillage and infanticide are routine. When Man acts as an animal, it’s not pretty. The reason he does not is the belief that he ought not die to there being a specialness to mankind that does not exist in the animal world. If you wish to act like a chimp, be my guest. There is no reason not to if you really believe that Man is ontologically equal to chimps.
/r/MensRights23/09/23 04:07 PM

False. Religion precedes morality. I agree that anyone can behave morally without religion, due to Natural Law written on the heart. But there is no logical or compelling reason that a being who is nothing but an advanced chimp, with no soul , SHOULD act in any manner whatsoever, he may do as he wants since the ontological essence of Man is assumed to be equal to that of a chimp. Nobody tells chimps not to rape and commit infanticide, why not?
/r/MensRights23/09/23 02:46 PM

Sounds good. Now why don’t chimps be excellent to each other? And who says that we should, you?! Who are you to tell Genghis Khan that rape and pillage are wrong? Chimps gotta chimp. “Without God, all things are permissible”. Ivan Karamazov

“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” is the eighth commandment, and a very good one at that. Twould be nice if mankind had an interest in “religion”, I know that’s scary to some of you, but maybe, just maybe, could be true, that some things are morally WRONG, and that “do unto others” is already good rule of thumb for how to behave. Wedded to the idea that you will be responsible for your sins, that’s maybe, just maybe, a prescription for improving the world. But NO, some of …

Sociological studies are garbage. The very questions asked by a study show an inherent bias, generally creating a self-fulfilling result that the “researcher” is seeking to confirm. What am I talking about? Let’s say, for example, that you think that there’s a question of whether adopted children feel less a part of their adopting family than biological children feel. The very question demonstrates a bias that such a phenomenon could be true. It’s unlikely that obtaining objective results would …

Revolutions almost always devolve into tyranny in the end. I don’t trust “democracy” any more than I trust an aristocracy. At this point, I’d take King George over the modern iteration of American government, at least King George only wanted a 10% tax on tea; our democracy (actually a representative republic) takes 30-50% of a man’s income.

May they go to hell.

If you ain’t liberal or conservative then you’re just confused. Liberals are loathsome creatures.

It’s a stupid phrase, but let’s be honest, most of us wanna look at women, and could do so all day. It’s a moral question; Jesus said don’t do it, so I try not to. But obviously he wouldn’t have said that if it were not a natural inclination. Feminists are not by and large Christians, so if they wanna tell me not to gaze, my question is why not? Who are they to impose their morality on me? (Just doing a reverse uno card on their stupid phrase condemning all impositions of morality).

Totally true. Dads are glorified ATMs, even if you wanna be involved in your kids’ lives and you give as much advice and help as you can beyond just money. It’s weird, you can’t win.

I’m not a girl, I won’t adjust the seat for them, and you have a strange reaction to that decision. Why does it matter?
/r/MensRights28/07/23 02:57 AM

Um, I’m arguing against having to adjust the seat for women. I am male, I do have a rather large finished basement, but I don’t dwell there, I prefer to stay upstairs most of the time. I don’t sniff asses, mostly because I never thought about doing so, and I don’t see the benefit to me or the recipient.

Ok, and I can give an example of women abusing their husbands, does it prove that women are more abusive to husbands than men are to wives? What does a single anecdote prove?? Nothing!

Bariatric surgery not geriatric surgery lol.

You just made the stupidest straw man argument ever. Evolution has nothing to do with this discussion and there is zero comparison that you made that makes any sense at all.

I’ve read five reviews and they all say the same thing. My daughter’s bf saw it and said yeah it’s misandrist nonsense. So no, I’m not going to see it. That’s how movies work: you see what you wanna see based on reviews and reports. I’ve certainly seen movies without hearing reports, and generally have been disappointed. So your point that you didn’t make but are going to make to me is crap, i don’t have to see the fucker to hate the fucker.

My daughter is seeing it for the third time. She’s 19 and loves the movie. I tried to tell her all of this but she refused to listen.

I just read about myelination of the human brain in a science publication, and I swear that they bent over backwards to downplay differences between male and female brains. It read very politically correct; they wound say things like some studies show male brains to be bigger on average, but other studies don’t show that, and the differences are not statistically significant. There were several times when they bent over backward to down play found differences. It’s irritating because science sho…

So women can desire to be “objectified”, and men have to go along with each individual woman’s choice as to whether she wants to be objectified or not? This is just like the whole trans gender argument, the idea that each person gets to decide how OTHERS view them and think about them. I don’t agree. If a woman wears tight leggings, for example, and flashes camel toe, she doesn’t get to control my sexual THOUGHTS that I have about her. That’s objectionable to me. I agree that “cat calling” is ri…

And yet it’s “empowering” for women to sell their bodies on OnlyFans or to be sex workers. Feminists can’t decide if they wanna be sexualized or not. So they demand both. Typical split brain nonsense from women. Wives do this to their husbands sometimes: “don’t you find me sexy? I want you to find me to be sexy”. Vs “you just want me for sex”. They use both arguments against their husbands in different circumstances. We can’t win.

Trad values keep men down? It’s the Left that screwed men over the most. IDC if you don’t like traditional male roles and responsibilities, I really don’t. But don’t blame real men for the feminist onslaught on real men.

Wait….what does that mean “White men commit most crimes?” On a per capita basis, White men are not over represented in crime stats, they are at most equally represented, or LESS represented.

Amen! Let them suffer under the rules they made for society. I say let’s make everything an equal playing field, and let the chips fall where they may. Does anybody seriously believe that women will have equal sports outcomes, or equal ability to be firemen or policemen or soldiers? This insanity is of their making. They invaded male spaces and dismantled them, now it’s our turn to dismantle their spaces.
