Great way to reframe it. Reminds me a lot of Jocko Willink's "GOOD" rant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdTMDpizis8

Just continue to build constructive habits. Adopt a meditation practice, read daily, and try out some new recipes for cooking.

Not sure the specific post you are mentioning. However, if you want literature regarding that, check out The Way of Men by Jack Donovan. His whole argument is related to the Way of the Gang. Which essentially means a tribe. Tribes by Seth Godin is also a good read regarding this topic.

I think you're pretty on the money with all of those points. To your point on it being "up to you," you're right. I think within any community, the extremists who are the loudest always end up getting the most attention and notoriety. So that's what a lot of us see when looking at TRP community.

Next date ideas are limitless; if you're good at conversation, then go out for coffee. Some of the best dates I have been on have just been extended conversations that go on for hours. Now, if you're not confident about keeping a conversation going that long, plan an activity. Pool/billiards are good. If you're feeling extra confident and want to be …

Easy to spot a yellow car when you are always thinking of a yellow car. Easy to spot opportunity when you are always thinking of opportunity. Easy to spot reasons to be mad when you are always thinking of being mad. You become what you constantly think about. Watch yourself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
