I’m a stranger on an app who has no interest in making you feel better or worse about yourself. My opinion is that your looks are fine. If you can have a more positive attitude and look happier, you should not have a problem attracting an average or even some above average looking women. You’re one of those guys whose personality and attitude tip the scale. If you’re positive, women will be into you. If you’re negative, they won’t be.

From my observation over time, women get buried in an avalanche of attention and it’s overwhelming. Too much attention is just as stressful as too little attention. Most women can’t handle it, give up and go back to in person. I was sitting in a bar with a very attractive female friend of mine and we were showing each other our Tinders. She had over 800 matches over three days! OVER 800!!!! Nobody can handle that. Where do you even begin? She ended up with a guy she met in the local theater scen…

It sounds like you have everything in place to take the final, but most intimidating, step: approaching women, initiating interactions and asking them out. Don’t fall into the trap of endless self-improvement as a way to avoid the scary part. Hit on women, welcome the rejections and eventually it will click.

This was a perfect thing to say in that situation. You also showed her you were not intimidated by her. Don’t feel bad about it, feel good. She wasn’t receptive. So what. Ninety-five percent of guys wish they had the balls to say something like that. Keep it up. Stuff like this will work on the right girl.

I cringe looking at my behavior when I was learning the ropes. “Showing you care” to a woman who is not into you is a 100-percent fail. It took me a few years to learn that.

“I’m going to step outside a couple of minutes for some fresh air. Would you like to join me?”

You still have 30 years to pull attractive women. If you can start having success in the next year or two, you can have three decades of good times with women who still look good. At 23, you’re only at the beginning.

If she seems receptive to chatting with you, yes. The window to communicate your romantic or sexual interest is short. I’d say two weeks. Any longer than that and you’ll be just friends.

Friendly and charming is a much better approach than dark and brooding, unless you are extremely good looking. In my experience, you have to communicate attraction and sexual intent within a two-week window or you will mostly like just be friends. If your friendliness and charm gets her talking, ask her out within a week. Work on non-intimidating ways of flirting. Make your intent clear but accept rejection with class and just move on if she does not show interest back.

Just nerves. I once had a new woman come over and couldn’t get it up right away. I suggested we go out dancing for a couple hours. In the car on the way home we were both horny as hell. When we finally got back to my place, I was hard as a rock and we had a really hot time. This was only like three hours after I couldn’t get it up. It’s easy to psyche yourself out with a new partner. Just relax and don’t give up.

I never was a drinker but I would meet hookups in bars. Just order a bottle of beer that has a darker bottle and don’t drink it. They don’t even notice. Poor a little out when you go to the bathroom or outside in the smoking area. In all my times hanging out at a bar I never drank more than a quarter bottle of beer. Bars and a drink really seem conducive to hookups. I wouldn’t enter a real relationship by pretending to drink, but for a couple hookup, why not? I even kept a pack of hard ciders in…

Just losing 20 pounds increased attention from women tenfold for me.

I think hotter girls generally are more welcoming of attention. A surprising trend I have noticed is that those who complain most loudly about harassment and unwanted sexual attention are decidedly less attractive women. Maybe they actually are treated worse because guys are too scared to go after hot girls.

Couldn’t agree more.

Sucks it didn’t go as you would have hoped. Just tell her you’re cool with that but don’t initiate contact with her anymore. If she wants to be friends she can do the initiating. There’s always a small chance she will come around again but situations like this are usually just a girl’s attempt at giving a kind rejection. I would forget about her and start looking for somebody new. The best way to get over rejection is to get interested in somebody new.

“Let’s get together around [time] on [specific day 2-3 days from now]. Would that work for you?” She’s interested. You don’t have to play any games. Just get together and see where it goes.

Had the same experience with Tinder in 2017. Only three or four matches a week that never turned into anything. After a couple of months, I became depressed and started to really doubt myself. One night I was feeling really down so I went out to a bar to see some live music. There were two women there out for a night of dancing and I started dancing near them. Long story short, within 45 minutes of arriving at the bar I was in the back seat of my car with one of those women who was then complete…

Very few women are attracted to balding, but many women are into bald. If you are starting to bald, keep it as shorter if you’ve still got decent coverage. If you have actual bald spots, then get rid of it. I use an electric razor to shave my head, so it always has some microstubble. Some guys use straight razors, which gives that shiny look. What are the results? I had just one sex partner while I was balding. I have had 21 sex partners had I started shaving my head. My best bald story is I hoo…
