I don't think Ireland is the capitalist hell hole you think it is that would take up 80 - 90% of a court settlement. They don't tax you on damages from a court settlement due to personal injury in ireland or in any worthwhile first world countries. The lawyers I have no idea if they are as greedy in Ireland as they are in whatever dystopian hellscape you live in.

Look man I am going to be the guy that ruins the joke because I am an old ass man and I am worried someones going to believe the purposefully racist instruction video in the movie Dodgeball is factual. Sorry if you were playing dumb for the sake of the bit, I will pay my old man tax of feeling shameful for not getting what the kids are joking about.

I gotta see the research you found on this, its super specific and would be very interesting to read, link me! Its a rabbit hole I am willing to go down even though its gonna be fucked up.

Man this was funny to me when it started, but now it has just been seeing a severly mentally ill person slid downhill and ruin kids lives, and its not funny anymore. Her poor kids don't have a fucking chance being raised by that nutcase, and they didn't ask for that. How she isn't in some kind of institution baffles me, but I have zero understanding of the American Health system. Like I am glad she is still not getting away with her scams, but now that she has made tiny humans it just makes me s…

As a 30's single father I can tell you that I have as little regard for mens rights as I do for feminism. I have struggled with no support since I am a dude when I was alone with my boy and I have seen ladies get treated poorly in a male dominated work place. I find both causes lacking in any real integrity. If either side actually cared about equality then each side would be giving up privileges they have in order to facilitate general equality. I don't knock it so much as I think its stupid. B…

I appreciate you taking.the time.to write this. I think the dying and risk based work is a very interesting side. I'm now going to look into that more to understand it. I love this kind of make you think stuff. I'm still on my opinions side, but your points have merit and I'm going to research them to make my own new opinion based on what I find. If you have any places you suggest I start beyond Google they are welcome. Thanks for the opposing point of view. If it helps at all, my similar questi…

Refuting my opinion without citations by your logic then is just as bad as me asserting them. So without proof.of the plight of men being worse for the course of human history is just as bad. Proof there's been no swings back and forth would be required for you to even say that, since I can't say the opposite without proof. So your point is invalid without that information you requested from me that you must not have or you would have cited it like you asked me to. I do always find it interestin…

No one can possibly cite the plight of every sex all over the world in every different situation. Though I bet that infographic would be the biggest one in history. I don't think anyone has won anything. No I don't agree. I think it's a pendulum that has swung back and forth in each groups favor in different times in history. I can only go by my experience and that has not been my experience. Maybe I'm lucky with the women in my life as well as the men. It's very possible I'm just very lucky to …

Yeah this is very true. I like reading r/feminism and R/MensRights because i like to understand how and why people think the way they do. But if you were to ask me my personal beliefs as a 33 M who has gone through divorce/Child custody Being a single father, its this. Feminists and MensRights activists are both in the wrong. if your are fighting for ONE side, you are not fighting for equality. You are fighting for inequality. Each side has privileges the other side does not. There are benefits …

I meant as far usurping his role as father. But you are right they can become friends abd trusted people. But a kid will always have friends you don't know well, at school or camp, through sports etc, That's the highest level they can get to, if you are always there to fill that parent role. A kid can always use more friends, and as long as you do your job, that's all they will be.

My ex introduces my kid to every guy she dates. All the time. Here is how I deal with it. I don't. It's not my business, and I would never make it my business. Unless he poses a threat to the child. You won't want her sticking her nose in your love life, and she has no right to. The other guy is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. I'm his father, the other person is just the guy fucking his mom. That's all he will ever be. I get 50% say in all decisions, so he has no effect on that, if anything …

Tons of different sub-reddits have different rules so what? Don't like the moderating, become a moderator and make a change or try to make a change. Otherwise this is about as effective as asking for likes on facebook.

I am cynical as the rest, but we all know good news stories don't OFTEN get traction in ANY medium. It has nothing to do with there being less awesome stories about Men and their positive influence. Its just that no one wants to read it, just like no one wants to read anything about celebrities being awesome instead of awful, or read about police being assholes instead of the way larger margin that are decent regular folks. Just the way of the news world for everyone not just us.

Me too, in Canada, with my boy. but I have also noticed that people have given me dirty looks in pretty much every situation I have ever been in and some point or the other. Some are more memorable, some I see clearly. Ones that sting always stick with you. Old people are the worst, you probably get the stink eye from at least one old person a day no matter what you are doing.

That's why you have to have neither side. Just like I said
/r/MensRights04/07/13 12:53 PM

That's exactly why I said that they are wrong too. Until neither group exists it's a losing battle. Each group has had hardship, each group has been fucked over. You can't compete human suffering its an impossible thing to measure. My kid currently lives cars 2. So freaking much, I can do damn near that whole movie of the top of my head lol.

While there are two sides, nothing is ever going to change. Until people are fighting for equality. Flat out equality. That means giving up the things for both sides, because both sides have power in places others do not. Its just going to get worse. If you are fighting for either side you are wrong. The reason neither side will ever win is because neither of them are right. The right thing is for equality between the two genders period. In all ways we can do it. No matter what side you fight on…

yeah I think they should have been charged with running on the fair. They were total bitches to a guy trying to do his job properly. As usual that does not matter though. Double standards and all that.

They never made a police report he did. Typically people don't get arrested for the stupid shit they say. (TYPICALLY) They deserve more trouble then they got, but their only real crime was trying to run out on the cab fare. They deserved to get charged for that since they ahd proof on camera that they bailed out on the cab

As a non American, could you define liberal talking point sub reddits, and (conservative? Is that right?) Ones. I'm curious to see if they are like Christianity and atheism, where each one only really exists because of the other one.

MensRights is looked at as a bit of a joke to the bulk of reddit. Feminism is looked at as a bit of a joke... Athiesm ...... Christianity...... See a pattern yet? You won't fix it, it can't be fixed. I would never call MensRights extreme, but any reddit that is soley affiliated with a religious view, or political stance (For lack of a better word). Is going to be looked at that way, because there are always a mix of good and crazy shit posted in them. It is not a Mens Rights problem, its a peopl…

This story should get read more. It is not so much a MENS rights issue as it is a really great example of media bias, and a broken system being exploited by a psychopath. OP should X post this to a sub-reddit that gets a more broad range of subscribers. Great post thanks.

You have no idea what I meant by any comment. If you were capable of that kind of sorcerry you would not be on here arguing with me. Pretend you know me because we have now talked for a short while, on a single chain of comments on a website. That is exactly the type of argument I have come to expect from you Sir Cunt of Cuntington.

I didn't imply it you inferred it. Nice try though. He should be careful and I stand by that advice. Both Mens and Womens rights are places that are filled with both fact and fallacy. Vile contempt and rational thought. You have to be careful what you take out of either camp. It is a slippery slope to go from educated supporter to insane venom filled cunt as far as I am concerned.

Bullshit nothing I never said that. Not once in anything Did I say his post should not be made or that It was invalid. I mocked his title, told him I was just busting his chops. Then argued with you. Then agreed that your a cunt who made 1 good point. That I should not make a guy feel bad for posting something in a cause he feels is important. I think that was a very valid point. That does not say that IT HAS NO PLACE HERE. That is my opinion on the sub-reddits higher ranked posts.. At lease get it right cunty cunterson. Where did I say that HE SHOULD NOT HAVE POSTED IT. I still don't see it.

I never said it shouldn't be posted I said it is posted. Quote me where I said it SHOULD NOT BE HERE. Not where I said it IS here or my OPINION on it. Where I explicitly said it has no place in /r/MR Then I will listen to your cunty argument. It is the least I can do for the mayor of Cuntopolis.

I got the part about making my joking more clear, when there is a risk of someone feeling like their post does not matter or that it is wrong to post it. As well as the message about you being a cunt. Those came in loud and clear.

Again, I was cracking a joke. And I did think the DO YOU THINK THIS...... Is a leading title asking for upvotes. So I will say it next time I see it as well. Regardless of sub-reddit. I was not and am not trying to mock any kind of cause. But I think any cause that can't take a bad joke or two, has bigger problems then the person cracking the bad joke. This is getting silly. So I will just say this. I was trying to make fun of the OP's Karma whorish title. Not the post or his ability to post it. He even took it well and I told him I was busting his chops. I didn't tell him not to post it. I made fun of the title of the post. DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE A DIFFERENCE.... I always though you were not supposed to post a link that basically said UPVOTE IF YOU AGREE. When you ask a leading question like that its the same thing. So I called him a karma whor…

No you don't. You can disagree with it, you can not like it. You can think I am an asshole, you can want to punch me in the face. But you have no business or place telling me what I can and can't say, argue all you like troll.

That has nothing to do with what I said. I busted a guys chops for a karma whore title on a otherwise normal MR post. Then you went on a name calling diatribe. None of that has to do with the current state of mens rights. Commenting that like the Feminism sub-reddits you need to take some of the more bile filled rants on this with a grain of salt is a valid opinion. So really you are just arguing against a ghost pretending that me busting a guys chops is some how setting back some kind of mens r…

So let people post what they want to post. And Let people comment on what they want to comment on. Unless you don't like it then they should be quiet? yeah I am going to go ahead and not do that at all. Also I even said in my comment that I was just giving him a little friendly ball busting. Oh no I meant the reddit front page. Mens rights is 80% Look at this bitch getting off her sentence if that was a man BLAH BLAH BLAH. Be careful in here young man. MensRights is a place full of a mix of outrage and hate. Some really great stuff too. But you have to sift though the same kind of tripe you see on feminism sub-reddits.

I meant that there is a story on the front page every single day (Not an exaggeration) about a woman getting a lower sentence then a man. So if you ever use Reddit, your headline just seems so blatantly karma whoring I decided to be sarcastic. Just a little ball bustin.

So me as a 30+ year old man not minding the occasional ass grab by a random woman at a bar, is why it is OK for children to be molested and groped in public? Give your head a shake child. Apparently who ever groped you also infected you with a bad case of Red-Herrings disease.

Sure have. I am just lucky that I don't give a shit. I am not of the mind that because women don't like being groped that I have to not like it. Its a compliment, its a surprise, and its a story, I welcome all of these things. Even from those I am not at all attracted too.

In my profile stuff as far as online goes. I say I have 50 50 custody of my kid. Figure might as well let them know. They won't get to meet him for awhile but they will know he exists. As far as fun random girls go. I doubt I will mention it unless they bring it up and I think it will put me in a good light. I will just go back to their place, if we do go to mine, I will cross that bridge when i come to it.
