Just like how wealthy people are afforded certain privileges because of their wealth(private school, inherited money etc), white people are too (not discriminated against disproportionately for jobs or in the criminal justice system). Is having lots of money a privilege of being white? No, obviously not. Even so, there are still certain things that you get by default as a result of being white.

There a certain privileges that each race has, and each gender has. For example, women are much less likely to be scrutinized for care work (teachers, nurses etc) than men are, especially when it comes to kids. He’s not generalizing based off of race. If I said “more often than not,being white offers some inherit advantages over being black in the USA,” I am not generalizing just like how if I said “there are per capita rates of imprisonments for black people,” that’s not racist either.
