U wouldn’t call from a fake number or something just to say hello and give some verification? I get it, but i get OP’s POV as well

So, don't try to meet someone. Just be a vain superficial drunk.

Being an "active listener" is something EVERYONE appreciates.

You need to look up what are defined as toxic traits and be aware of them. Maybe she already has some and is trying to tell you without giving the specifics. Things like: I get really jealous, i’m very clingy, i take but never give, i often guilt trip people. Those are things that can make a lot of people run for the hills. Or maybe she even likes a guy that displays though because shes insecure? Likes a clingy guy or something...Just ask her to elaborate.

Agreed which is why I did not go the route of making a harsh judgmental statement. It’s just in my mind that’s basically keeping someone who you vowed til death do us part and you ain’t even broken that off legally yet before bedding other women. I mean if you are both upfront and okay with it, I guess that’s cool. I don’t go by society’s beliefs I go by my own and that’s wrong. I’ll leave it at that.

Whoa buddy! You have an understanding wife amongst you becoming too intense while trying to get intimate with other women? Please elaborate or uhh...this is Reddit so i’ll have to take the higher road of “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all”. I hope I am just missing a piece of this story of yours....

You can do better. So can I. I can’t and won’t speak for you, but I intentionally avoid closeness, intimacy, and relationships with others due to insecurities of self. Some days I think I am an irreparably broken POS and others I hate myself for thinking like that and know I have a lot to offer. I don’t believe”You can’t fully love others if you don’t love yourself” , but “You cannot accept the love of others until you learn to love yourself” is what i’m working on.

Probably the first thing I've seen in seduction that wasn't cliche advice on "being confident" or "working out" to feel more attractive. Admittedly quick to throw salt on BS seduction posts, but I actually really like this one.

Agreed, nothing wrong with planning at all.

Except for maybe the Twitter one would you RIGHT NOW suggest any of these to a loved one? Your Mom? Dad? Significant Other? Hopefully not, because they CAN get it and CAN die. It’s not a hocus pocus hypothetical that will never happen. Being human means you are not immune to becoming a victim and, ultimately, a statistic. “Survival” would in no way seem extreme if you’ve lost someone from this. They have no chance of getting resuscitated if they succumb to a flatline and most often die scared an…

These are all good ideas, but bad timing. As effective as telling a 9/11 joke on 9/12 and expecting laughs. Literally no one who cares about survival should follow these tips currently.

When I give the girl space because I don't want her to feel pressured, she bangs #2.

I know this is a seduction post, but if it doesn't turn into anything serious hopefully you won't be too salty about it. I don't know about you, but there's nothing wrong with making a new friend either. Wishing you the best, man!

Reading comments like "what kind of sap would...?" We insecure people are not blind to these kinds of statements and it's a godsend that Reddit exists because everyone likes to judge on a cookie cutter rule of "you get what you give", but that only exists to a degree. I feel like people who make snarky comments don't deal with the same struggles us messed up insecure people do, and therefore should not make judgments. Someone of the opposite sex is much more willing to put in the time with someo…

This is a cliche thing to say, but that actually applies to everything. It’s the worst when someone does something nice for you spontaneously and later it’s “I did _______ for you, and this is how you thank/repay me?” The worst.

But some girls are much more confident and knowing in what they do or don’t want in a man. You can show her a good time and have her genuinely enjoy the time she spends with you, doesn’t mean that kiss is always gonna land or not come off as too forward.

We all have flaws. That picture basically generalizes an un-favorable view of introverts and honestly doesn’t even coincide with your post. Wouldn’t someone overly invested text and call too much?

Thank you. I appreciate that and agree entirely as was the intention I was trying to convey in my original post. It’s crazy to think we are all the same species but we do not all have the same experiences and that is what essentially builds us up or breaks us down in life. If you have the strength, have had the support, and you have the confidence to ride out a dark storm independently. I don’t question it. More power to you. Maybe you had such a fulfilling childhood that you felt confident and …

I dunno...it seems pretentious of me to give advice. I’d do okay, if I had women interested in me, problem is I don’t. Maybe I could, but i feel like unless you are a universally attractive guy amongst women, to even try to talk to someone in their daily life errands is just intrusive and bothersome. Especially during a covid worldwide pandemic. Everyone eats with their eyes. If a butterfly lands on your hand, you gaze in awe. If a spider does the same, you will likely swat the crap out of it wi…

Walk a year in my shoes. I’m sorry, but being alone as an inpatient there is no well of self-sufficiency or self-love to draw from. Your body is damaged. Physical pain. The loneliness. I’m 34. This has been since birth. So I didn’t just become this way. It was a steady decline over the course of years. It’s not logical to expect someone to be tough and independent and not need anyone for the duration of their whole adult life. Intimate relationships aside, there are times in your life where you …

A person can only experience the bitter taste of defeat, and get broken down so many times before it becomes too much and they digress into lesser versions of their former more confident self. Years of being under a surgical steel blade always hoping this will be the last time. Years of being alone and hoping you won’t be. Then feeling foolish to have ever felt any hope when its another year passed. IMO, as humans we are nothing more than what the experiences of our lives shape us and make us se…

Not being confident in how you look is needy? OK, guess we are ALL needy at one point in our lives or another then. Or have you always found yourself to be the sexiest person alive?

Damn, wish i could meet a woman like this. Lots of my genuine shows of niceness are evident of understanding, but means absolute shit vs a guy who is easy on the eyes. Walk over a mile cause she wants to see me than tells me she just wants to be alone when I’m a block away and its freezing cold at night. Calls crying and asks me to come over and bawls in my arms for hours. Wants to try to work things out with bf and sends me away once shes composed herself? Sorry 34/m. Kinda drunk and bitter as …

Really liked this girl. We were friends for a awhile. Watching a movie one night when she says her feet were cold. i tried to give her a foot massage and she was like no that’s okay but thanks before tucking her feet under her legs. Felt like a leper...

Whenever I try to really get to know an attractive girl, I don’t try to rush things... BANG! literally with another guy.... I think the way attractive women feel about guys is subjective. Sure it’s creepy...unless the person approaching you is someone you find attractive, then that general rule seems to not apply as much. Male or female, we all eat with our eyes initially.

Dude, i'm shy to a fault and you took rejection like a champ. I don't get out much either so it's a big step in my eyes. I remember reading this Peanuts comic where Charlie Brown is pondering talking to a girl and says "Maybe she'll scream, maybe, she'll kick me, maybe she'll run away...I wonder if she can do all those things at once." My inner monologue every time.

Maybe she's a girl who doesn't really tie down. Likes friends with benefits. If she "no but yes" with a guy, she's messing with him or has some feelings for him. Either way, you're not the only guy or THAT special to her. Just remember that.
