What’s even the point of Marriage? Or am I just bitter?Raising kids imo. I once saw an article by a guy who said “marriage without kids is pointless” and I kinda have to agree. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/07/25 10:23 PM

Video Games in your 40s?I play video games and paint miniatures (mostly to sell on eBay) and I’m 50 (still married right now). To me it’s the same as watching tv or a movie. It’s just downtime activity. Doesn’t make you a lesser person. A lot of video games are actually very mature content too. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/06/23 11:31 PM

Do people, relationships, come with an Expiration date?I’ve been reading Mating in Captivity. The truth is, sex has so many things working against it over the course of many many years with one partner. When sex and intimacy stop, every other problem becomes that much less tolerable. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/22 12:53 AM
Can’t do this anymoreI went through a very dark, suicidal period while out of work for nearly a year. A few years later, I'm on track to do better (in life, in career, financially) than I ever have. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem - I really believe that. See a doctor, get help. Usually it's brain chemicals that are out of whack and need some normalizing. I got back to feeling "normal" with a mix of better diet and proper meds. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/04/22 08:40 PM

Something I always get stuck on as I contemplate Divorce (pretty sure I've asked about this in the past)Oh, good point. I would expect her to buy out my half of the house. So I guess my assumption of "I'd have to get an apartment" may not be accurate (maybe I could buy another house). | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/01/22 06:04 PM
Something I always get stuck on as I contemplate Divorce (pretty sure I've asked about this in the past)Thinking she might want to stay and have the kids finish school from this house. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/01/22 05:41 PM

60 Days of Dread Week 1: Lifting for LifeThis is a really old post obviously (but this thread is in the sidebar so...): if anyone can comment, why would removing foundational lifts like squats and deadlifts lead to BETTER muscular development? | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/12/21 08:54 PM
Quality of life post divorce worriesTo be honest, this is why I feel trapped in my unhappy marriage. I'm in Canada so the laws are different. As miserable as I am, at least I get to see my three kids every day and I'm not living in poverty because of child and spousal support. I can't bring myself to give up a decent standard of living.Maybe I'll get lucky and have a heart attack or something. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/07/20 06:22 AM
