1	Textbook Discrimination When noticing this trend, did you speak up? Noticing the problem is very important, but taking the next step and raising awareness is also vital to making this inequality and unfair educational treatment change. 3	Car Insurance Sexism. All statistics are X-ist, depending on the X that you're looking at. Gender, race, age, weight, and height are all 'statistics' than can be used to provide bias. Insurance companies just went with the easier, less legally hinkey option of gender as a starting point. Even if you were to remove gender from insurance rates, the next thing they would look at would probably be your age.
