I saw a great reddit post once that basically can be boiled down to the following; NO party is coming to you - you'll have to be the party. Sit down alone drinking, stay alone drinking. Girls are not interested in seemingly boring types - even if they may be good looking. Talk to some girls, ask them for a dance, whatever. Sitting alone drinking beer helps shit.

This will be short, because I'm on the phone. I painted ONE of my walls bordeaux red and left the other ones white. I chose the wall with a big window, and also put up some posters and what not - leaving hints of the red. This looks really cozy, and I've gotten a lot of compliments about it.

This would require your wing woman to feel really confident talking to other women until you show up at the party of two. but I get your point; thanks!

I agree; especially on the last part. Am I wrong to say, though, that if organized and planned carefully before a night-out a wingwoman could be very helpful?

I am here to improve. So are you. I am not equivocating female to sea creatures like I am not really talking about a glass house, when I say that you should not throw rocks when you live in a glass house. Metaphors and visual expressions are a very common way to prove your point.

I said it is not ideal; I did not say he should refrain from it. Generally, taking advice from guys that know how to pick up girls is more convincing than taking advice a girl who has never tried to pickup one of her own. Also, for this girl it may be right to do this or do that as she has her own point of view and maybe a couple of female friends who probably has almost the same point of view. Having a guy expressing his thoughts after been having a lot of experience - like a fisherman - seems …

Care to elaborate if you have any experience on the field?

"You do not ask a fish how to catch fish. You ask a fisherman." Taking advice on how to seduce women from a woman is not really ideal.

Yeah, but you do not want the girl to come out on top. You are the one that has to seem attractive in the end, and if you open up and talk freely, she might just end up using you.

Don't be too worried - leave her up to herself for a day or maybe a few. Who knows? Maybe something happened in her life, and she may have to put you on standby for a bit. Text her in a few days and ask her what's up. You both seem to be pretty open-minded, so I would not be too concerned.

I don't know any techniques to get you too seem more funny, but I know this; Do not quote comedians and pretend you made up a joke Having jokes stages can be really awkward and you will seems really weird. Be relaxed when you joke. Often self-irony can lead to much fun both for yourself and otheres. Self-irony also show confidence. Joking about your weight or the lack of it, your family, your habits. ANYTHING will work!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
