Yes: people knowing they can rely on other thought their suffering are less likely to lash out because of pent-up emotions.

Never said the contrary. A lot of people get into the movement because they think it's about equality, because they've been told for years that women have been abused. It was true a hundred years ago, but feminism has not self-actualized yet and still works as if men were all working against women. And they end up working against what they want: the dumb feminists that say stupid shit end up radicalizing boys and men and those men often end up developing misogynistic views, at the exact opposite…

It's all about how we consider women little angels that need protection and comfort whilst men need to be sTrOnG and stand for themselves at all times until it kills them or they eventually lash out at the exterior. Gender bias. It belittles women and ignores men. We could even argue the feminist movement is oftentimes belittling.

Because people see men as the norm: women's health-> outlier. Men's health? Just health, according to them.

Because a lot of people associate gender and similar subjects to be SJW's property, and this becomes "woke shit" that's just false and seeks to hurt society, when it doesn't and is just a thing we're talking about only now. A lot of anti-feminists are anti-LGBT because the two are sadly being mixed in by dumb people because they both value the rights of specific communities. Men's groups on the other hand firmly oppose those groups because they have an aversion for anything that has to do with t…

Rich men considered their rich women counterparts as inferior, and poor men and women counterparts as pure shit. Poor men protected the poor women. Basically, it goes like this rich men>rich women>poor women>poor men. It's a class war, eventually. Not a gender one. It was mistaken as such because of the influence of the church.

We've associated "disputing pseudo-equality decisions" to "being anti-feminist must mean we're anti-women".
/r/MensRights06/01/22 06:39 PM

Humanity overprotects women, and by doing that underestimate their capabilities (both good and bad), AND hurts men, and in the end, everyone as a result. We're dumb.

Spain has indeed a huge "solving social issue" problem. Don't know where that comes from, but it seems it's really a sucker for PC policies and ideas. Disgusts me and puts equality to shame.
/r/MensRights06/01/22 06:35 PM

So what? Is there a need for quotas? Try raising awareness and it will even out. Especially if you don't go the easy route that some feminists take and blame women for things feminists do.

Most women were considered good even before feminism. Why? Because women were considered weak and innocent, by default, like children. Men don't get support because the stereotype that helping a fellow man is gay, and that a man should deal alone with his issues.
/r/MensRights06/01/22 06:24 PM

Man, they're just asking for the source of the stats, it's not malicious. Rape is difficult to prove. Innocence of rape is also difficult to prove. How do you want correct stats in the subject when it's so difficult to prove anything?
/r/MensRights06/01/22 06:22 PM
1

Instead of proving rape or not, let's focus on the victims. Support systems will help, not money. Perhaps it helps with rapists imprisonment, but that's it. To avoid rape, then we should focus on education.

I disagree. I think there is a spectrum of dis attachment to gender identity and sex identity, however. But there shouldn't be pronouns for every millimeter of the spectrum: her, him and them suffice and cather to the majority of the population.

Some people don't have the clear connection you have between your brain and your body: Neurologically, this is due to multiple reasons under research, not gonna elaborate on them because I'm not qualified. It causes distress to people, imagine not feeling like your body's your own. Some of them have no clear idea if they're a boy or a girl. You cannot know. Sometimes your gut will warn you. Women can't really identify bad guys either, it's not like there's a secret list of hints. You can search red flags on the internet, but red flags apply to people in general...

And doing that to ourselves, as the people. Who is benefiting? The ones making money on pseudo-movements.
/r/MensRights06/01/22 06:02 PM

I agree with that idea and find absurd that they don't already exist. I think that's also a huge problem of our time: most people are isolated and disconnected. Women have the luck to be able to cope with it better, on average.

Modern feminism indeed is an issue. Well, modern feminists. They're the ones that fuck everything up with their shower thoughts. I miss the time when people wrote books about their thoughts and not 200 words long tweets.

Feminism is an ever changing movement, and honestly, means nothing anymore. It just vaguely describes a group, and everyone thinks of it in a different way because the people of the group don't unanimously respect the definition it was attributed by the people who defined it at first, technically those are the only legitimate people about what feminism means, no? Kinda reminds me of the islam debate, about how people consider it a religion of peace but a considerable number is violent. What do t…

I've been. Didn't like that subreddit anyways. Perhaps I'm not a feminist. But I still think women are as humans as men. As good, as bad as men. I don't want to use the "egalitarian" word because I see no real movement. Just see people stating their support to whatever equality is.
/r/MensRights06/01/22 05:49 PM

This whole social issue is full of hypocrisy, double standards, fallacies and corruption. Hence why I titled my post that way. There is not "one good side and one bad side". People with good revendications, assholes joining them, making them look bad to the "opposition" and thus ensues a whole "I'm good you're bad" debate. I kind of understand why a rising number of people don't really want to talk about it.

I'm a woman, explain how I'm on here, and am trying to accumulate info about men's issues then. Stop being overly simplistic. There are people who care. I was called a rape-hole.

I'd say it's because suicide attempts get counted, you know. Some person hangs themselves, family find them before it's too late, they go to the hospital, and their injury is considered a suicide attempt I guess? Hospitals more than likely provide those stats. Surveys too.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 03:33 PM

Resorting to insults and stereotypes doesn't help your case. I'm trying to look into the issues of everyone. You're not. Because you're just pretending to care.

I'm talking about all of your comments. You're stuck in your own world and don't bother to adress what other are actually saying ot why they're saying it. You're probably young, I'd advise not bothering about things discussed here too much because they're complex, tiring, and far too nuanced.

Mansplaining was a thing for a while, but almost no one worth of your time says shit about it, man. There should be dedicated boy groups in society that aren't restricted to the internet, internet allows people to talk shit without it coming out of their mouth, hence a lot of radical shit coming out of specific communities. We live in a non-human society where everyone is divided.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 03:16 PM
1

Tell that to the teenage boys also shitting on each other with "alpha-beta" linguo. Men should be allowed to be humans and not the "stronk man" at all times. And that without stupid shaming. Mens suicide rates would be lower if they were allowed socially to make emotional bonds with people.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 03:14 PM

I'm a feminists to keep ground against the misogynists that still exist, but it's quite passive. Reason is, there's not much "oppressing me". I'm not an African woman. I'm not forced to do anything or kept from doing anything. But I still stay one just in case shit happens and we revert back to the middle ages, y'know. I'm also heavily for fighting against men's issues too. Both aren't mutually exclusive. Saddens me that people oppose this all the time.

No, toxic masculinity is, for example: "Boys don't cry". "Men have to always be the ones responsible for everything" "you're not a real man if you don't follow what I say". That's toxic masculinity. Toxic feminity is: "Girls have to be pretty" implicitly telling them it's okay to be mean to boys because they're girl "you can't play with cars".... Toxic feminity isn't as present today although it still reminisces.

I've always found the whole tradwives thing icky. We live in a world that doesn't benefit men who are going to be the sole providers, it's a literal trap. Back in the day, it was a trap for women. Now, it's a trap for men.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 03:05 PM

I see what you mean. A lot of people are all talk and say men should free themselves for the patriarchy, and also expect men to act just as what the patriarchy traditionally expects of men (being the providers, the responsible ones). I don't think that's all done voluntarily. It's a whole mess composed of misunderstanding. Men today are lost because they're expected to do "traditional things" in a non-traditional world. We haven't developed modernity on the men's side whereas we did on the women…

Capitalism is at fault here: pursuing careers you don't want is something men and women have been told to do in the name of "success". Capitalism used feminism as a tool, seeing how well it was for the industries to have more producers and consumers. It started as a movement to rightfully make women humans, and soon enough has been instrumentalized to profit the rich at the expense of almost everyone. But you seem to assume a lot about how women appreciate their careers. I know I do. I'm gratefu…

If you seek it, you will find it. Now, let's try to find where the absurd KAM slogan comes: south africa. In what context? A huge uprising after a huge affair of sexual abuse and the like. So south African women started to use the slogan to talk about those things. A very bad idea, if you want my opinion. It didn't solve anything (although it rose awareness and hate from men who felt, justifiably, vindicated) Because dumbasses all over the world now use it to be bigger dumbasses. Come to think o…

Hum. Schopenhauer says quite a lot of shit about women though. Women aren't a monolith. All of them are different just like all men are. The way he talks about them is insulting.

What hurts women in a gynocentric society? She's infantilized? I'm asking genuinely. Gynocentric puts the the idea of Woman on a pedestal, right? It considers them damsels in distress if I've understood well.

Women have developed standards because every partner brings a risk of pregnancy: that's also the reason why men didn't think they really "needed" standards, know what I mean? Back in old times, it was to find a good wife and that's all. You sometimes won the lottery or just met someone average. Nowadays we focused on telling women about red flags in dangerous individuals and people have started thinking that safety was only for women? Teach your children about red flags and manipulators. Teach h…

I see what posts you're talking about, but what gives that you automatically thought of that with just a post telling about a woman wearing a stupid shirt? It's not relevant to talk about other people when were actually focusing here on a specific person. You're assuming lots of things just to make a point. I have nothing against said point, but I'd like you to defend it a but better than just your feelings...
/r/AntiFeminists05/01/22 02:33 PM

What about the woman we're talking about in this post? I though you found her social media profile on where she ranted?
/r/AntiFeminists05/01/22 02:31 PM

Well if men are judged harshly, its because they're considered more violent aggressive, strong, and thus dangerous whereas women get the "damsel in distress" treatment. The word patriarchy defines a system where men are put as the responsible ones, the perpetrators, the controllers. This benefits and hurts the whole population of men. Benefits only a small portion of handsome/rich men whilst the rest suffers the consequences of a system not allowing them to be considered damn human beings.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:29 PM
1

Well it's kind of like when feminism was in its early years man. The cause of men is recent too. Chances are men are going to go through a century of "meninism" to get their voices heard properly.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:26 PM

Criminal men are seen as more dangerous because they themselves believe it. No one trusts them everyone considers them monsters. And they get out of jail convinced they are and end up acting as such.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:25 PM
1

Female privileged due to boomer-logic judges seeing women as damsels in distress when they have literal criminals in front of them. Women aren't glittery princesses and men are not orcs.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:24 PM
1

Stop repeating that people ignore it: make people NOT ignore it. Keep talking about it and don't shut up. That's how changes occur.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:22 PM
2

Both don't solve anything. One pretends to, and the other doesn't need to pretend because people aren't taught to be protective of men.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:22 PM
3

Why do we consider men expandable, I ask you? Why do we consider them lesser when they don't fit in a societal mold of Man? Why is there so much pressure but so less guidance upon younger men? Because the system is fucked and men haven't reacted agaisnt it yet, since there is nothing ""visible" to most people. It's basically issues going on in the background that everyone ignores (including men) for the reason that "men should defend themselves."
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:21 PM
2

Good point: it's true that physical violence is more common perpetrated by men (at least the one that gets you into prison) Psychological violence is hard to detect and is the one most used by women. We should educate men on how to protect themselves from that kind of violence too, they're defenseless at the moment.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:18 PM

The justice system is full of issues. Race. Gender. Corruption. Human rights and basic decency. It's a rotten system. I have no idea how people can fix it, really.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:16 PM

The justice system is really unfair. It will give death sentences to drug dealers and let rapists get out after a few years. It's rarely, if ever, fair. Disgusts me.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:15 PM
1

Saying someone is neglected by society doesn't mean much. Men are neglected by women and other men because they're expected to be strong at all times and NEVER need help. Whereas women get sometimes too much assistance because people consider they need to be ALWAYS protected. That's what it is.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:14 PM
1

No one? I do. Why does everyone say "no one cares" instead of saying "I care"? It's sabotaging at it's best. Of course no one will care if you say that they won't and then not tell anyone about what you found. It's time we provide help to more men and support the ones who have issues. How do we do that? By raising awareness. By raising funds. By telling everyone about it.
/r/MensRights05/01/22 02:12 PM

The average about all kind of sentences doesn't mean much. I think statistics that compare male and female times of incarceration after the same crime and within the same conditions would be a bit more effective .

It's also important to consider the diets of people on prison. An experiment has been made where prisoners ate less sugar and they were way less aggressive. Testosterone is mostly at play too, but then how would anyone explain some criminals who don't exhibit those high rates?

Simone de Beauvoir is still a great figure of feminism, but she's dead so... I don't think we need such a big movement, since it triggers a lot of negative reactions. And a lot are stupid whiny gals. There are more than one type of feminism. Literate feminists, Twitter female supremacists, and so on. More because they couldn't do anything in case of rape, and that you don't need to be attractive to get raped. It's like knowing a serial killer is roaming the area, as there are also more rapists than serial killers, allegedly. Better to be safe than sorry, I'd say. Also because a lot of women experienced creepy shit at night already: being followed, for example. It happens a damn lot.
