What's the deal with tacos? It's been mentioned a few times. Is it some kind of code for something?

Omg I'm rolling! 😂😂😂 This is amazing! I think we all know that guy. Apparently so much of a scrote his bottom teeth don't even want to be attached to him anymore!

Also, it's that endless narrative that a woman's value comes from whether she "can get a man" and that something is wrong with her if she's not entangled with some dude, even if it's by choice. So yeah, they think if they pick you, you've won the " prize."

Tell me about it! Every profile is "I love huntin', fishin', campin' and getting my pickup muddy."

I can only speak for myself, but I would imagine a lot of women are like me and have such low self worth that they believe they don't deserve a man who will love and respect them. I spent more years than i care to admit giving myself up to men for whatever scraps of attention I could get because fundamentally I felt worthless.Thank God I found this sub when I did and am finally in a position to make some real changes in my life and in my self-esteem.

My guess would be to destroy her self esteem and make her feel like he's doing her a favor by being with her even though she's "not his type." That way he can manipulate her into staying with him because it might make her feel like she can't do better. I'm so sorry if this is what hapoened, I'm just guessing based in the comnent.

I clicked on the next video that came up out of sheer morbid curiosity and it was pretty horrifying. It sounded like she read the FDS handbook then turned everything around to say here's all the shitty things women do to men. Then had the nerve to say that pointing out red flags in women's behavior is some kind of "equality" because it gets talked about in men all the time. Sickening.

You summed up perfectly everything I was going to say. He made a few good points but it was all so incredibly superficial. Couldn't even throw in a "by the way, once you get her you better know how to treat her."

I would just like to thank you for the honesty in this post. I am in the VERY early stages of overcoming my pickme ways and learning how to love and value myself. I see a lot of posts that make it seem almost too easy, which made me feel like I was doing something wrong for struggling with it so much. I applaud your courage in acknowledging that being alone isn't always easy, even for someone who has been practicing fds a lot longer than I have.

"you shouldn't set yourself on fire just to keep someone else warm." LOVE this analogy!

I literally just removed myself from that first situation you described a week ago because, thanks in part to finding this sub, I finally for the first time in my life believed I deserved something better. It was hard, but I ditched that sob and now I'm taking the time I need to build my self esteem so I don't fall into that nonsense ever again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
