Glad it worked out for you. Luckily she didn’t claim physical abuse. It’s truly amazing how a spouse will intentionally try to ruin one’s military career over their choices.

Damn. I’m in the same boat just in NY state. Godspeed. Shit isn’t fair that’s for sure.

Ya it sucks for sure. But you still have your kids!! Might not be the life you expected but keep grinding for your kids!! Gotta stop worrying about the ex. She’s gonna do whatever she wants. Your concern now is your relationship with your kids and small improvements each day. Hang in there. It’s always dark with the storm. But the calm and light comes after.

I deleted my IG and FB when the ex wanted to separate. Best decision I did for myself. What’s funny is I didn’t nor do I still care what’s she doing now. But she’s been very nosey with me.

Unfortunately NY doesn’t care about infidelity or adultery.

Bingo. Paid for all the gas and electric, credit cards, yearly taxes and car insurance while putting into 3 different retirement accounts. Guess how much she contributed to joint savings and retirement? You already know the answer haha. She did purchase stuff. Just not anywhere near “50%”

Hey thanks for knowing so much about my situation…..but my one retirement predates the marriage. So you’re wrong again. That is my retirement and not martial property. Have a good day though.

Yup. 0 kids 0 property but judge awarded her $1900 a month cause her business of 10 years doesn’t show a profit on taxes. She didn’t claim her cash or tips. Takes a loss every year makes “minimum wage”. So now I’ll have to cash in one of my retirements to pay her out. But 50/50 right?

Taking my boys ( 2 English cream golden retrievers) on separate walks. Then to an indoor dog play area with a bar. Best day ever.

Separating myself. Turning 40 later this year. No kids. She’s leaving (again lol but this time for good). I’ve said before I’m not doing dating apps again and I’m sticking to that. No desire to date and even try to. Just gonna worry about myself and enjoy having no one to answer too. No responsibilities other than myself and work. Everything happens for a reason. Gonna enjoy life and see what happens. Kinda excited and not really depressed (as much as I thought) or worried about the future.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
