One piece of wisdom I always liked was ‘if you’re going to take something off the table (sex in this case) something else should be offered.’ Like emotional intimacy, cooking, supporting your SO in other ways than sex.

As someone entering her residency, this is sooo true. It's not easy giving what's left of your energy to your family, but it's absolutely worth it.

Work on foreplay. Jumping right to the chase is a big turn off. Source: I'm a girl.

Yeah I think most people have similar views of the SAHM in America too. There's also been a cultural counter-point that makes working moms feel bad about themselves- some think that women who maintain their own identities beyond being a mother to be on the same level as the devil incarnate. It's sad, really. :-/

I've lived in America my whole life and I'd like to say, especially in terms of RP ideals, we as a culture are lagging. I was raised that class is more important than wealth, but I've noticed that a lot of my peers neglect that standard. Loud and obnoxious are seen as sassy CRINGE. Education and career are important to everyone, including women, but most people neglect having a strong family system. Where I live (on the East Coast) not TOO many people are overweight, but a hefty (pun intended) a…

I understand what you're trying to say, but I also find it abhorrent that he's intending to seek out a religious girl strictly for her values while also mocking the pillars that religions build their values from. (Never said it was impossible). If OP wants a religious girl with enough cognitive dissonance to be involved with an atheist, he shouldn't be surprised if she falters ethically. Unless he's willing to give her religion lip service and go through the motions (as I've seen some people do …

You can call a spade a spade, as I sure do, but it doesn't mean you can shit on a persons set of values when you've picked them, expressly for having (as you've targeted a religious person for) a set of values. There are many people with good standards in the world that aren't religious. It's more work to pick through the non-religious ethical people, but it doesn't mean they don't exist.

So you say that you're tolerant and still claim that people are 'full of shit' for their beliefs? It seems that you're targeting religious people for their values, yet you're also mocking them (internally at least) for expressing those same values?

I was raised like that, as well. It's tough to see that even some stay at home Moms neglect their feminine qualities and are clueless as to why their marriage suffers. facepalm

From what I've experienced about May-December (aka young-Old) relationships is that they're nice as the younger person because the expectations are much much lower sex-wise and they're MUCH more appreciative. Also older partners always have much more experience in terms of life and play.

Do you realize the author of this post said that TRP is a life strategy and not just about sexual strategy? And yes I follow that subreddit as well.

I chose this life because it's important in any relationship to get back to the basics. It's good to have a career and a personal life, but it's empowering to accept the female role and to do it well. I've noticed when I let these roles suffer that my relationship suffered.

To be fair I think it's totally possible to have 'good stats' and find a husband to make happy. I'm 24, have a high paying job, advanced degrees, and am getting engaged. In my opinion being smart makes you a better wife- you'll be able to have conversations with him that a pretty piece of tail would lack. I've been told that people who marry solely on looks end up miserable a few years after the nuptials. Hope this helps your spirits. :)

It may be helpful to mention that all of the angry comments aren't what red pill is about. Sadly, it's a place that men go to when they feel the need to vent about whatever women problems they're having (source: I'm a girl who likes the red pill philosophy and was berated the other day when I tried to take someone's rant about women in general). Just let him know there's a lot of sound advice in the red pill philosophy, but sometimes the subreddit itself is abused. Best of luck. :)

Sadly, pussypass and it's whole culture are just another form of the victim mentality. Since I also have a vag, it's especially difficult to see women act this way. It's important to be aware that there are people like this in the world, but it's also wise to not let it color your opinion of people you meet and interact with (being angry with innocent women because some of them are assholes who use and abuse this form of victim mentality).

In my opinion it absolutely is. As long as women get favorable treatment we will be seen as weaker than those who receive harsher treatment. Pure and simple logic.

I might get downvoted to hell for this, but wanted to add my own life philosophy: it's not being selfish. In order to be a pillar of strength you need to take care of yourself. This society rewards people who take care of others, but from what I've seen people become miserable for failing to take care of themselves first. Excellent principle.

I was blindly hoping that I could bring awareness to the more extreme viewpoints on here that we don't all suck. I deal with a lot of embittered men IRL so I was hoping to remark on the 'joke' that women are oppressed by 'the patriarchy' and 'can't learn math' due to that. I was hoping to suggest that the author of 'the joke' that he could have clarified.

Obviously they do care because people keep replying! :) Hahaha! As I've stated before I accepted that it was intended as a joke. I've tried to end this comment stream, and people keep sending their pissy little comments. I don't have 'special little snowflake' privilege as people keep accusing. I shared my opinion and stood by it. I never said it was mean, did I? I tried (naively as I've stated before) to try to bring awareness to someone who made an inflammatory comment (which, as I've stated b…

I don't think I'm a 'special snowflake', but I also don't think it's appropriate to be downvoted because I'm voicing my opinion. This all started because I made ONE comment to one snide 'joke'. I honestly think it's hysterical that people are down voting me. If they're taking the time to 'attack' (I'm sure that's how they see it) my karma, better for them. I hope they feel good about it. If that's how people want to spend their time to show their distaste of others opinions, AWESOME. I'm happy f…

I was blindly hoping that I could bring awareness to the more extreme viewpoints on here that we don't all suck. I deal with a lot of embittered men IRL and somehow I'm still naïve to think I could change someone's view. I follow red pill women and I'm aware of how things really are in the world, but I had a hope against hope it could make someone a little less bitter. Shit is what shit is. I didn't take offense as much as decided to stick to my view. However I let it color my judgement and now …

Thanks for conceding that. I guess I had let myself get defensive. But just as i resented the several generalizations that redditor made I'm afraid I made some of my own. Thanks for reminding me.

I stopped replying for a while because I thought it would just be easier to let a petty argument go, but let's continue... If you make a sarcastic joke about how some women victimize themselves, I can understand and expect that on a subreddit like TRP. that's fine. However, if you don't clarify within the 'joke' that it's sarcastic, other people viewing it will take it as face value. I read TRP because I like having a full understanding of multiple perspectives on arguments, including how men vi…

If people want to call out women on not being educated (in this case, being good with math) people who don't belong in that generalization should have a chance to defend themselves.

As a female on this subreddit, I've subscribed to see and understand more about how some extreme TRPers see women, and how that opinion is spread. I'm more than willing to admit that some women deserve hatred for what they've done to men, but keep in mind there are a few of us rational chicks out there too.
