I’m getting a fucking phd in evolution ecology and behavior. But please, keep telling me how much of an expert you are. 🙄🙄🙄

I spent multiple posts talking about how people using specific animal species for examples clearly were lacking in a nuanced understanding of these specific species social structure and you say I’m wrong by diverting your argument to humans. 🙄 make up your damn mind about exactly what you want to argue. The animal kingdom is not a monolinth and there is a huge variety of different social structures- there’s no single pattern that’s seen across all species. It’s extremely well documented that bon…

Except that this whole idea of alpha/beta narrative in incel language is SEXUAL hierarchy which is not born out in bonobos. Bonobos have sex with pretty much every other bonobo in their group, all the time. Hierarchy does not remotely matter. Females are also largely cooperative rather than competitive, which is why they are more matriarchal despite females being smaller. And the wolf thing doesn’t hold up at all. Again, using examples without any concept of nuance to support a narrative

Bonobos, our closest relatives, are matriarchal so no, alpha males are not really a thing there. https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/1033621/scientists-assumed-that-patriarchy-was-only-natural-bonobos-proved-them-wrong/amp/ The whole concept of alpha males in wolves has been rebuked including by the person who first printed the concept. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/no-such-thing-alpha-male-2016-10%3famp Interesting how people who talk so much about “but it’s just nature!”…

I’ve literally never felt resentment for anyone who didn’t want to be friends with me. 🤷🏽‍♀️ So feeling resentment over not getting sex suggests a feeling of entitlement or expectations that is not comparable to the reverse. “Dickful” thinking. Which again, to me is just sad because it diminishes so much to just thinking of women as either those who can give you sex or those unworthy of any of your time and effort. Rather than considering friendship to actually be a valuable thing in and of itse…

Nobody is obligated to give someone else any sort of relationship, friendship or otherwise, that they don’t want. That said, I’m just sort of astounded how so many men allow sexual attraction to ruin what could be an otherwise good friendship. Yeah I totally understand not wanting to be friends if you’re madly in love with someone and it’s unreciprocated and it’s painful to be around them. But just that you want to bang them? Lust can be fleeting and is so little compared to the fulfillment of a…

Condoms do protect women some for male-to-female transmission (which happens more readily than female-to-male and why more women are infected). https://www.guttmacher.org/journals/ipsrh/2001/12/condoms-reduce-womens-risk-herpes-infection-do-not-protect-men There are actually some places where it is illegal not to disclose a known std infection. When you say most people don’t disclose, I presume you are talking about those who don’t know they are infected. If you know you are, you have an obligat…

A big part of my point with both of these is that in order for the statistics to make sense with a small proportion of men having the largest percentage of partners, the reverse also would have to be true (a small proportion of women having the largest percentage of partners). Not a “winner take all” narrative exactly. More like a small proportion of the population of both sexes who are substantially more promiscuous than average. Which MAKES sense. We live in a culture with strong pressure on p…

All of these stats also ignore the presence of gay men, who probably average significantly more partners than heterosexual men and sex workers (this is also noted in the first link - some of the men noting the highest number of partners reported being paid for sex).

And, as Goldin pointed out, “If the sexually ac…

Wow… you just went down a real rabbit hole with complete supposition of what it could be to support your belief without having any data to truly back up whether or not it was true. The data isn’t flawed - it’s just not the piece of data you want to prove your point because that data doesn’t exist. The one piece of data that is there is that twice as many men as women have 2 or 3+ partners in a year. Your final premise is based entirely on 1 partner = 1 sexual encounter. That means you are focuse…

A lot more men will lie about wanting a relationship when they are only in it for casual sex. So you have to do a lot of sifting through those guys

I looked at the same study and what struck me was that > 70% of tinder users are men, only 20% are women. So when you take that into consideration, a big reason for the difference in swipe rate may just be that women are looking at 3-4x as many men as men are looking at women. It’s worth noting that men’s swipe rate is still under 50%

That’s entirely a narrative you are telling yourself in your head. Not something you know unless you’re looking over women’s shoulders while they are on dating apps

There are so many women who have to wade through a pool of guys who just want to fuck them. There’s a lot of women who are not conventionally attractive who are brushed over. That’s my point. I’m absolutely agreeing with you that there are many men who want healthy relationships who are brushed over but that’s true of many women too because the “abundance” of matches for attractive women are largely fuckbois.

And men don’t care for women that have nothing to offer them… that still doesn’t make his completely incorrect stats correct (that are basically the premise of his whole argument). It’s parroting some fake incel propaganda

Your stats are also completely wrong. In the most recent surveys, men age 18 to 44 were more likely to have had no partners in the past year (16 percent) compared to women (12 percent). Men also were more likely to have had three or more partners in the past year (15 percent) compared to women (7 percent). A 4 percent difference is hardly the exaggerated difference you made it out to be. And men were more likely to have had more partners by 2x https://news.iu.edu/stories/2020/06/iub/releases/15-…

I’ve been poly and it seems there are actually a lot of women who want non-monogamy and I’ve come across many many men who don’t want it despite me wanting it, including my current partner. A lot of people settle for monogamy period because it’s the cultural norm, not because they want it. Your views are extremely outdated

🙄🙄🙄 many women can smell that bullshit for a mile away. Again, why you are having a hard time. Because you got to find girls who are gullible enough to fuck you. It seems like the guys who complain most about how hard it is to date are those that rapidly reveal themselves to be total douchebags immediately. I wonder why… Do I believe many men actually do care about real relationships rather than shallow vapidity? Absolutely. You are representative of a sad portion of the male population but by n…

I can tell you that all your language would be giant red flags to me if I came across you on a dating app. So if you are commenting on how it’s so hard to date while your comments are clearly giant red flags to many women, I’ll sure as hell judge you. “Studying women to get them in the sack” - basically you’re thinking of them as OBJECTS, not humans. So no wonder. Maybe start thinking of them as “entire human entities” and not prizes to be won

It’s clear why women don’t want to date YOU - you act entitled and mysogynistic.

Any queer woman does because dating women is just hard period. I struggled like hell when trying to date women and usually would just revert to men because it was easier. That said, straight women have their own issues. Safety concerns, sexual coercion. There’s a illusion of abundance but if you’re actually trying to find a quality relationship as a woman (rather than just someone who wants to fuck you), I’d argue it’s just as hard as for men.

I’ve been approached in a store before and it was extremely uncomfortable for me. My advice would be just don’t cold approach like this. It’s ok if it’s someone you see regularly (like in a weekly class or community meet up or something) and have had interactions with but definitely not just random passing on the streets
/r/seduction15/12/21 03:51 PM

Where are you approaching women? Is it in a setting most women are wanting to be approached? Or is it in an inappropriate place? I think a lot of women really dislike being approached unless they are somewhere they expect to be like a bar or a club.

Honestly I rarely will just check out random guys on the street. I’ll check out girls WAY more. But if I’ve made an emotional connection with a guy, there’s a much better chance I’ll start checking him out whenever I get a chance

It’s good for women in the sense of having an illusion of abundance. Sure, a lot of guys who would be happy for a one night stand. In terms of actually establishing a good relationship, I don’t really think it’s any better for women.

It might be time for you to take a break from online dating. I have a feeling your resentment and cynicism is showing through and it may be that more than anything else that is putting girls off. Someone who is playing a game they think they have to play while absolutely hating it is just not going to come across as attractive. So maybe take a break, go out and get involved in activities you enjoy and maybe you’ll meet girls irl. Only come back to the online stuff when you feel you can approach …
