Picked up a set of 1952 Britannica great books collection, most of the 54 volumes from a thrift store, with all the great philosophers writings. I'll be listening to classical music and reading to improve my knowledge and myself. Good thread, keep it up!

Agreed. Most people are losers and have limited intelligence. Empathy makes that a hard fact to deal with, but people also lack the ability to detect these flaws and improve themselves. So getting depressed or upset at people is a waste of time.

Talked with a girl I've known a long time who cheated on her husband, now divorced. She said she cheated even though she knew it was wrong at the time, due to her "love tanks being empty", followed by a "mutual" decision to divorce, probably scarring their daughter for life.
