It lasts forever. It doesn’t get easier or better.

There is no way forward. Once women know that one of them has thrown you away, then they’re done with you. Especially if you have kids.

I’m not doubting that some lucky people get to have lives after their divorce. But it’s not possible for a lot of us, or maybe just not possible for me. Life ended when she cheated. It’s been years and nothing good has happened since. Nothing good will ever happen again.

Is this post a joke?

Another horrible day today. Fuck it. I’m done.

Appreciate the suggestions. I’ve been working out nearly every day. I’ve tried therapy and meds. I tried dating apps for a while, just for company, not expecting anything - struck out on those. I cry everyday. Every night,I fall asleep sobbing. Every morning, I’m disappointed that I wake up. It’s been years. Nothing helps.

There’s nothing I can do to make my life tolerable.

I’m jealous of your situation. You have friends, hobbies, and apparently women are interested in you. Good for you. I have nothing.

Nothing fascinates me. Having money is required to be able to live a decent life. My money now pays for some other guy’s life.

Ha ha ha. As if anyone has ever done this.

It doesn’t get better. They throw us away like garbage because we don’t matter.

I haven’t gotten through any of it. It’s been three years and everything is still just as raw as the day I put the pieces together and found out she was having an affair. It’s still a struggle to get through every day. It’s all I can do to not cry at work or when I’m with the kids. Any minute I’m not working or with the kids, I lay in the dark and cry. I’m so lonely all the time. All of my friends turned out to be her friends and my family doesn’t speak to me.

Had a similar experience. I have our two kids 75% of the time, I pay my ex just over 50% of my take home.

Single dad with two young kids, no money, and no free time. I don’t know any single women and have zero path to meeting any.

You don’t. You never do. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ll never have sex again.

You don’t have to worry about it if no woman ever speaks to you again. That’s my approach, just being utterly repulsive to women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
