| 6 | How I avoid spiraling into shame when hearing feminist critiques of menI used to sort of think like that, but I don't anymore. It's not changed my convictions really, but I just avoid feminist circles because I'm not a masochist. Seeing and hearing that sort of shit on a daily basis is just incredibly toxic. I remember talking to a male feminist friend about how I was struggling, and found the twitter pop feminism to be sometimes hurtful, only to be met by "yeah but it would be worse if you were a woman".
