So, Blake Lively is a misandrist, apparently. Is it really getting this bad?You are angry obviously. I have tried to show you clear examples in good faith and you have been rude and insulting. My patience extends to those willing to have a discussion, not to those arguing in bad-faith flinging shit at people. Good day. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 06/12/23 12:47 AM
So, Blake Lively is a misandrist, apparently. Is it really getting this bad?even though i cannot recall a single piece of media that has ever treated women with such disrespect? This was the qualifier. I provided an example a simple fact. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/12/23 11:36 PM
So, Blake Lively is a misandrist, apparently. Is it really getting this bad?https://steampunklibrarianblog.files.wordpress.com/2021/07/4.jpeg?w=359 I think there are many different ways to dehumanize others. Being reduced to a sex toy is one that women deal with. Where as men often find themselves being dehumanized in violence and 'producer' ways. This ad turns that on its head. The sexual dehumanization in this video is gross, but you would either have to be a naive child or willfully ignorant to not see that it has happened to women as well. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/12/23 05:50 PM
So, Blake Lively is a misandrist, apparently. Is it really getting this bad?Sure thing. Here are a few, but reddit ate my nicely spaced layout. https://images.ecestaticos.com/-4pR1bs_wewV5RUY2gnkkvroH5s=/0x0:468x604/1200x1200/filters:fill(white):format(jpg):format(jpg)/f.elconfidencial.com%2Foriginal%2F0c4%2F6c5%2Fe80%2F0c46c5e80b4a331ff25b751eb3299820.jpg)/f.elconfidencial.com%2Foriginal%2F0c4%2F6c5%2Fe80%2F0c46c5e80b4a331ff25b751eb3299820.jpg:format(jpg)/f.elconfidencial.com%2Foriginal%2F0c4%2F6c5%2Fe80%2F0c46c5e80b4a331ff25b751eb3299820.jpg)https://cdn.sanity.io/imag… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/12/23 05:22 PM
So, Blake Lively is a misandrist, apparently. Is it really getting this bad?Manners are a part of polite discourse. The question's purpose was to determine the age group of OP. "even though i cannot recall a single piece of media that has ever treated women with such disrespect?" If I understand the age group, then I have a frame of reference for OP. They are either too young to remember, or are not paying attention. Those two options involve different discussions. Anyone can image dump sexist ads to show children that these sexist ads exist. https://images.ecestaticos.… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/12/23 05:21 PM
| -3 | So, Blake Lively is a misandrist, apparently. Is it really getting this bad?"even though i cannot recall a single piece of media that has ever treated women with such disrespect?" Might I ask how much media you consume and from which generations? I certainly can remember worse being done about women. Not trying to justify this one, just saying I can remember worse. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/12/23 04:34 AM |

"Kissing the Ring", are you tired of apologising?I would appreciate citation for panel #6. It would do me a great service. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/08/23 10:18 PM
Have you ever been shamed by another man (or men in your life) for showing certain emotions?Yes, growing up my father actively attacked my emotions. I wont go into details, but is was constant from him and his generation. Maybe that's just how things were in the south but it was normal. Ostracization was a part of life if you shared the pain in highschool too both genders. Though it is nice to hear others did not have to share my experience. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/05/23 05:37 PM
Can the left win back men?"when looking at the US left wing, empathy is not exactly what jumps to my mind. And education is more and more turning into ideological indoctrination" Empathy is what is required to want healthcare for all. Empathy is required to advocate for the basic human rights of marginalized groups that are not you. I suppose trying to teach empathy can feel like an ideology from the outside. "A lot of core left values - care for all, freethought, anti authoritarianism, etc - are quickly being trampled u… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/23 04:49 PM
Can the left win back men?An old french humorist said "if voting had any use, it would have been forbidden long ago" Painfully accurate. Having no real way to make change is why the breakdown of single-issue-voting exists. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 05/04/23 03:58 AM
| -17 | Can the left win back men?Education and empathy, that is all it takes to vote left. Because of the simple two party system, you have to choose what is most important to vote on, and then get stuck with whatever is left over. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/04/23 01:30 PM |

Got banned from r/feminism for asking a question about equalityWelcome. Thank you for being one of the good ones. Keep asking those questions and you will quickly find yourself removed from modern feminism. And we will all be in a better world for it. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/18 09:38 AM
Am I the only person that sees the problem with this?Maybe if they are funded by the government sure because then it becomes a legal issue and i will stand shoulder to shoulder with you on that fighting the good fight. But we are talking about the movers choice. And that is the hill they chose to die on. You cant decide that for them, regardless of how wrong they are. | /r/MensRights | 11/12/17 10:00 PM
Am I the only person that sees the problem with this?Charity is charity, and that is the cause they decided on. Their actions are not hurting anyone so its not really an issue. Im not saying that there isnt male domestic abuse victims, but if thats what they decide to do with their time and it is bettering the world i wont be upset. Remember these are just California kids, students trying to help a cause. I cant fault them for that. | /r/MensRights | 11/12/17 05:56 AM

Can someone please tell this guy to check his old white male privilege? He seems a bit smug about it.It's amazing what a little time can do for someone. Good on you man. | /r/MensRights | 26/10/17 06:50 AM
Can someone please tell this guy to check his old white male privilege? He seems a bit smug about it.Yes, but this would have been more impactful with some statistical representation. Otherwise we simply become easy to ignore. Imagine a reader stumbling across this post. Wouldn't it be more reasonable to change someone's view with bluntness followed by facts in that same post? | /r/MensRights | 24/10/17 10:24 AM
