I think this division hurts both groups. MRA needs to stop shaming PUAs for wanting pussy and power and PUAs need to accept that some people don't want to chase vag. It sounds like you had the issues, CBT is a way to get through it. The best part is that you don't even need to see a therapist. Self-driven CBT is a little bit less effective than professional driven but still worth it.

your usual day job is not physically taxing enough, you need to do something that pushes your limts hard, a workout at the gym for example. I doubt something you do as a day job gets you there. Other than that, meditation can help with redirecting your thoughts. Do some reading on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This can help you long term come to terms with it.

Well it is hard to disagree there is a greater quantity of sex, it's going to a select few males. The increasing pool of men getting nothing would, in theory, increase demand. My personal theory on this is that since using prostitutes has been deemed shameful by society that is negatively twisting demand, since the people most likely to make use of their services are being driven away by social rules.

I don't see how all of these are bad (although some of them are). There are a couple items in there, that are okay. Not putting your self down, not trying too hard to be funny, don't coddle her, don't leave your sexuality at the door, don't take rejection personally. All of that is legitimate game. It sounds like you are taking external solutions to internal issues. Bulking up and taking martial arts can definitely help confidence, but you are still going to have to push yourself outside of your comfort zone until that area becomes your comfort zone, then push into new territory and continue to build on that.

My personal advice for you is to forget a lot of (but not all of) the PUA material. Just approach, try new things, get out of your comfort zone, analyze what went wrong, and what you would do differently next time; then put it into practice. You'll find if you do that things will self-correct and then you can focus on the more advanced stuff.
