Yes, the presence of lots of abusive men is obviously a great argument in support of men not being the problem here

I can’t wait to hear your wedding vows. “well, Rachel, you’re perfectly decent. Not great, not amazing, not especially kind or smart or anything, not one in a million or anything special….but…perfectly decent. All I need in a partner.”

To me, the one that advocates, actually commits, and then glorifies mass murder based on the idea that one sex isn’t human is the worse one. But, to each his own!

I think you think FDS is about finding dates. Otherwise your line about attractive women not needing FDS makes no sense. FDS is primarily about safely rejecting male attention, which is abundant for even the ugliest of women. So the hotter the woman, statistically, the more often she will utilize FDS to avoid dick-pic-senders and baby-trappers, as she will be completely inundated with unwanted and unhealthy attention pretty much all the time.

No they wouldn’t. They’d be fine not dating you and they’d find someone who meets all their standards and they’d be happy. Meanwhile you would meet someone whose standards you met, and who met your standards, and you’d be happy too. You can think standards are silly and have lower ones, but when you start feeling like it’s wrong for women to not date you or other men because of them, you have ventured into the entitlement realm, so hopefully you don’t resent the standards, just don’t date them.

Telling you what other people think about you. It’s called triangulation. If someone tries to tell you about a problem some other absent person has with you, shut it down. “Okay, I’ll talk to them.” Manipulators use this to isolate and neg you. Sometimes they’ll outright lie and say “Your mom thinks you need to help out more when we visit” to put a wedge between you and the third party by making you insecure about your relationship with them. Sometimes they use sneaky language to make it appear …

Men are constantly referring to male on male violence as proof of male oppression while simultaneously blaming women for the oppression of females.

Hahaha I’m 100% sure her telling him she “could never see that changing” was a polite let down because she could sense the scroteness crossing boundaries. As in, I love you too but as a friend and I could never see us as anything more.

And of course, don’t forget to smile!

On your third example, the reason they can’t do that is because men commit virtually all of the violence against the men, too, so they have to specify by the victim to talk about women’s oppression.

Men thinking about responding to a criminal: “I would just drop kick him in the chest, somersault over the bed, disarm him from behind, put him in a chokehold, and shoot the bastard.” Men thinking about women responding to a criminal: “Why didn’t she just call the police?”

And when a woman DOES commit violent crimes or abuse her partner, it’s going to be on the front page of all SM and much mainstream media for months. It’s going to have a podcast specifically about the few women who do those crimes called “Black Widow” or “Women Behind Bars” or some porny sounding title. It’s going to be a remarkable spectacle that men can’t stop focusing on and bringing up by name, because it rarely happens.

So the same standards and expectations as FDS, except also disgusting because you have an “fwb bucket” for people who don’t meet them.

Has she sold herself out or did the industry jump on the chance to sell her the second she turned 18? I know she makes her own choices ultimately, but when it’s between losing your contracts and being squished into oblivion by billionaire’s lawyers twisting publishing laws (see: Ke$ha), what kind of choice is it?

People who want to sexualize her and convince themselves she would date their old asses are happy to ignore the times Billie has spoken out about not liking being groomed by the industry to be a sex object and pretend the two things are unrelated.

If you like trucrime/psychology, “Something was Wrong” is an interesting podcast exploring different types of abuse and manipulation (primarily by men against women but with some exception). It’s mostly firsthand stories from women who experienced it with some episodes delving into the psychology. It opens with a long account of a woman who realizes she is dating a complete sociopath and it has some moments FDS Newbies might gets “lightbulbs” from.

I don’t think that’s even ghosting! You told him it wasn’t gonna happen. Which is more effort than he put into your date.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
