Not really, i don't think you understand the notions of seddit. most guys are here looking for relationships with quality women I think we can agree on that most informed here are looking for that. But there is also a greater part who - at least in the beginning - just wants to get laid. ;) I still don't see the point in reading about it, that just seems manipulative. It is not intended to be. I am reading seddit for the insight of the other team, the obstacles which they are facing and the sugg…

Not exactly something you need to "defend" yourself against, just helping teach guys that "hey, IT'S OK TO TALK TO WOMEN AND FLIRT!" I don't want to defend, I want to show that there is a chance to conquer. I think my question goes along the lines of "It seems to me that he is looking for certain IOI's as the book says and I am looking at providing it to him" - and I am trying to avoid the hard and cold "ey wanna fuck?!" and ease more into it = allow escalation to progress. There is one advantag…

I understand this is not the notion of seddit, but the motivation is not just a fuck close and never see you again, but actually a guy which I am interested in at least as a fwb. the reason for asking here is the fact that the "script" he seems to be mentally working from is seduction material, so I am interested in reading where he might have that from. And I disagree, it is not always necessary to actively do shit tests with guys, there is so much more information available when a guy approach…

It was more of a thing he said to himself "why are women always shit testing men" - that was too specific as a phrase.

I would never do that with a guy I am not interested in. That is your invitation to do something to escalate.

If you look a bit older than 21 but are, they will probably pick up on that. For me that would be more of a 'how young am I talking to hear' but basically the only answer which is relevant should be "I am legal and I can drink". At that age you also might be more interested / curious on life. So turning up the compliments / sexual tension could be a good idea to indicate your interest.

play that to your favour "My life is so busy with training, I rarely get to see anything from the world. Tell me something I have missed last year / what was your favorite thing last year?"

Any chance she is just tired of you not showing enough interest back nor moving the relationship forward? There is interest, and then there is giving up because of not getting enough indications back - on both sides.

"I've wanted to kiss you for a while." is not asking, it is stating your state of feeling. There is some asking implied, but it is not a "can I pretty please kiss you?"

and why would anybody take into account that some people are just not really into overanalying stuff ... or know how to quickly access the special characters on their phone ... or are just in a haste and feel that the word with a meaning has more meaning than an additional 'qualifier' ... but! if you prefare! WE CAN BE ALL EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!!! :)

Yeah, that's the same reason I feel so weird trying to initiate with a girl that is kind of shy and held-back I am more of the assertive kind, and I assume it is the opposite then - you would feel weird because there is not only the chance of rejection but also being put down in a way (even less validation) I think it has to do with me being a bit of a spoiled, self-centered brat. well that is a first step in recognizing ;) I usually end up having bad conversations with others due to not really …

to have this kind of self realization has to come first though, before you can start working on it. :)

hiigaran, is this also a good read for somebody who deals with / wants to help people like this?
/r/seduction08/07/12 02:32 PM

but that got me interested because it exactly describes this kind of behaviour. Maybe you have never met somebody like him? They really are extremely thirsty to have this kind of validation.
/r/seduction08/07/12 02:31 PM

If you just want it for the girls, you tie it to your success in reactions from them - and probably get discouraged if validation does not come from them. I wear make up and perfume - but only partly for others. I like myself the way I put it on and I love the smell of my perfume. The responses from others are a bonus -not a necessity. If they don't like it, that is fine with me. I am not crushed by it. If I would do it for them, that would feed insecurities.

Annoying for me because even if you are answering all my requests for contact, if I always have to be the one initiating, then this feels wrong - and so as if you really are not that interested. I understand that hoping for a girl to make the first move on me is an exercise in futility. Well not if you help girls like me realize that your need for validation is the reason you are not making your move. Even though sometimes you look as if you would be interested. In case you have not guessed, I h…

its good to have thick skin and your own ideas, but we all need validation, or else no one would need to leave the house, and the good news is theres an unlimited supply of it out there, so we can get to a healthy base line The key point here is that healthy base line of how much from yourself you are able to 'fill' that need for validation. As a woman I am often surprised how much my female friends depend on the opinion of others (and I do get flak from them for being to self assured when in re…

On the flip side that could mean that I as the girl has to do all the work of getting in touch with you first, asking you to do stuff - which gets annoying very quickly. ;) And that probably also means that the girls should make the first move on you to 'validate' that ... I wonder what circumstances would allow you to be more bold with that? Being drunk? Or the girl being drunk and less likely to remember that you where bold? ;)

is that different to being rejected for you? because if as a girl I try to go on the path of "show him no rejection he might proceed" whereas in fact you are waiting for something different - validation - I have a communication problem with you.

maybe be honest with her? 'i'd like to try that out and if it does not work I really want to go back to friendship because I like you really well. I accept that this may not be possible, but I would like to try?" I saw something yesterday to the tone of "things could clear up when we just would make out with one another for 5 min"

I meant more that he should take a clue from other people. Escalating does not mean going from not talking to a woman to sticking the tongue in her mouth but maybe with more steps in between. And yes, he needs to test it out. Maybe he is one of the naturals where women will fall over him to get his tongue in their mouth without conversation ;)

It needs time. :)) Set yourself some goals you want to achieve and track your progress, maybe even with small things. "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. " Michael Jordan You will be rejected. As long as you stay gentlemen enough and not just go an grope her or anything like that, you will be fine. :)

If they are in general clueless, then yes for god sake go through what it taught here first. If you are more advanced than that you can take the advice of women without a problem - but that is when you also start to ask different kind of questions. :)
/r/seduction29/06/12 06:41 PM

The original answer was "Not really. Unfortunately women very rarely have effective advice for men with respect to succeeding with women, and most of what they say is usually counterproductive." Not in general, not in "ask a woman" type of thing, but the fact that what woman suggest can be highly counterproductive. Ask 100 woman about something and then 100 men, it will be completely different. We are talking seller / buyer relationship here. Are there buyers who will be able to tell sellers abo…

Really my point was there are people who are good at giving advice, and those who are bad and their gender isn't what decides this. True. But additionally you never will be able as a female to see what is needed from the guys perspective, you only see "the finished approached" - and dont get what goes into that before. You may be a great critic of a meal but that does not know you have an idea on how to cook that meal.

They also don't have good advice when it comes to fashion (this includes gay friends). I have a friend who is business woman but also is working as a model - she is the kind of girl who gets a daily marriage proposal on the street. She and a group of friends where lamenting about "the boys not paying attention to them succesful business women" when the husband of my friend came in. They asked him for his opinion and he just looked around and said shrugging his shoulders "no skirts. no heels. no …

My take is: Am I in the mood? Do I feel comfortable with you? If yes, then it can be the first night. Chances will be diminished if I have the feeling we will be around the same social circles (aka do I have to face you again?). Thinking about your question more: Do I have the feeling that you will be an ass about it, or will you be discrete? Are you a grown up or just interested in your pleasure? 'What will be the aftermath?

"there there!" works fine for Sheldon ;) Yeah I noticed in the last year that we should not do that kind of talking in front of guys, they never know how to react properly - but when you ask me what is the right way, I am lost at answering. ;) In general, don't go for the solution, even if she asks(!). Ask her question to make her vent more / talk more about it; you just need to keep up the appearance slightly. (It does make sense to establish early on that you have a very very bad memory - 'tel…

"my profile is blocked for people who aren't my friends so that's not the case." yeah but she is a friend now. the argument about not knowing about the number works with the "not much on facebook" excuse. good luck!

Not a guy here, but that sounds fine. Just remember if you used facebook inbetween, because she will be seeing that you did stuff there yet not respond to her friend request. Let her cool for a while and dont worry, she most likely will take some time to react back to you - because if she gives you the number she agrees basically to be taken out. you did however check if she had her number in her profile or not, right? :)

Yeah, you should not have bailed but went for the coffee anyhow. She really might have a boyfriend (or not), she may be happy there (or not) but if "I would to like you know better" is just meant as "I want to have sex with you" she would not have been interested in you even if she was single. Complicated way of saying: What MrSleepyhead said is right. And she will not be in a relationship forever. You do want her to remember you as the guy who did not just want sex but really get to know her. E…

We like nice guys. We do not like or appreciate spineless, non confident, whining guys. :) Get up your confidence and conversation skills, talk to women for other reasons than getting her in bad, participate etc and turn up the heat if you are interested in a women. Generalization: If given the choice of an asshole kind of PUA who know his way around a women and a whiny submissive 'Nice guy' I take the PUA. If there is a confident, nice young man as a choice, I heartly prefer that third choice. …

Here is a new approach: Use the number to call her. Then judge based on that interaction if she is still interested or not. There are books out there to deal with you kind of guys who only text and never make a move forward, and the number one advise it to stop responding. The goal? To finally have you call her. :)

I was once at a party and we both stayed overnight. She was the 10 of the party and I remember vividly how she came into the room, pissed of "cute. CUTE! that is all they ever say!" i would use that for the next date - make up a list of things you would say to her and let her pick one (and keep the list), use it in a playful way. ;)

Look at it this way: It is way easier to go from sweet to hot than from jerk to being able to hold a normal converation. "I bet you say that to all the guys you're trying to seduce!" and alike may work for some guys, but it screams "I have read my PUA material today!" to me - and only a very few guys can pull that of without landing mentally in jerk land. "You are sweet / cute" also can mean (depending on your age group) that you are non threatening in the good way, that you are not an idiot who…

I think most women like to be 'ravished' so having you being so horny that you cannot wait to get to her, should be exciting (unless you are with a very young and unexperienced woman). Romantic lines - if not just learnt to fake it - are always good in making her more attracted to you, most guys do not do this kind of stuff. Remember that generally women are less blunt in their approach, so toning down what ever sexual image you have in your mind might not be the bad option. ;) There are some gu…
