Hey I got one! Actually I posted it on LPT but it was taken down, apparently it wasn't a safety tip, I was "instructing people to attack others" or some bullshit. Carry a spray can with you always! Spray paint is good but a deodorant will do. This is for the ladies in countries where you cant carry pepper spray or bear mace. Have a spray can in a pocket or in an easy acess place of your purse and go straight for the eyes if things so sour. It gives you time to run away.

Oh and btw. He cared for his family's plants because he had to. And he didn't like dogs at all. He wasn't abusive but it broke my heart, when he came to my place and my dog was so happy to see him, to barely be acknowledged. Lesson learned - NEVER again

Oh I'm definitely looking into that in the future! For now I'm mostly learning to care for simple plants (I never did before except for cactus...). That will be a next step, since I love eating them. Thanks for the book recommendation!

Received mostly disgusting shit. Also, someone refered me to reddit care (or something) and I received contacts for suicide hotlines... Because not getting plants apparently makes people suicidal 😂 I block and delete them. I don't want to turn DMs off since I talk to some nice ladies on reddit sometimes.

That's the thing. My ex was generous when he wanted, and I knew he did pay attention to what I said. He just didn't want to bring me what I asked for (a thing that wouldn't even cost any money). What's wrong with these guys? And damn, sorry to hear about that. I guess it was more important to him for you to look like a doll (for him) than doing something that would make you happy. I almost made a post about Virgin River yesterday for this reason. I thought, woman going away to a remote beautiful place to do shit on her own, yes please! Then after a few episodes you see the guy who courted her from the beginning has a 2yrs girlfriend, and he treats said gf like shit because "in the beginning I said I didn't want anything serious" and when she gets pregnant he still persues lady nr2 so I just couldn't stand it anymore and stopped watching and got mad AF

This is exactly what I'm going for. Not a castle (yet), but in the process of buying a nice 3 bedroom home just for me and my dog. There's lots of stray cats around that I plan on feeding, taking to the vet abd let roam around in the patio. I just want peace and quiet and the company of animals.
