there is an issue because it is required we all get a chance to work on each other at least a couple of times the teacher rotates us, i just think he deserves to be respected like everyone else. its part of the education, how are you going to massage someone if you don't know what its like. its ok most of he girls in my class don't like deep tissue, it may also be that there are just more women in the industry so statistically more women seem to lack the ability or poor training since state standards and schools vary.

when i went through my pregnancy i had a male doc and he was awesome and very open, he had a male student a few times to observe and even practice some of the things they had to do on me and learn to measure the cervix and what not. its interesting being an educational tool but thats how it is everyday i go to class, best way to learn is hands on.

i have no boner prejudice, i understand the physiology and you can tell if its inappropriate or not. I usually have no reaction and put a blanket over it or i go a little deeper to help it go away. anyway i never want anyone to be embarrassed about their body, its just nature.

I myself have a very deep touch, more so that the males in the class and I'm medium and short. Men and women have a different kind of energy they give off sometimes... also may depend on your experiences with different sexes in your life. I had a lot of abusive women in my life so that may be a factor of my male preference but I don't want to discriminate I will get a massage from anyone who shows love for what they are doing. Ive had great women therapists.

As long as you don't claim to be a licensed massage therapist and charge money like a buisness, there is nothing wrong with giving a good intimate massage. My SO is the only person who gets the special treatment but I also never do that when I have him on my massage table, he does get legitimate ones that are not sexual.

Some yes, there are a few who seem to have some personal issues with being touched by any male. I don't believe so, i think they are young and stupid. They don't realize what impact their actions have on the massage industry's reputation as well as their own. If that was their intentions they will learn very fast how serious the massage community takes its reputation. also i believe "the best" are the people (not male or female) who do their job as professionals and genuinely love and believe in what they do.
