Unhealthy women gossip Yes, this

I have been married for 14 years... That's the extent of the "intimate details" that anyone gets except our anniversary date. Some things are just not anyone else's business. AND everyone that tries to tell me about their sex life, I cut them off and switch topics. I really just don't want to know.
/r/MensRights23/03/24 02:27 AM

Yup, 150lbs. That's why people complain about the "failure rate" of it. They forget that it's why doctors know your weight when they prescribe you medications. Different weights require different amounts of medication. After 150 lb it becomes less and less effective because it's made for somebody at that weight or less. The standard pill they make it for what was the typical weight.
/r/MensRights05/03/24 12:18 PM

And only if you're 150 lbs or less, anything over is less effective. They don't tell people that though.

Yeah, I think it comes down to State. I was also in the room when my husband had his done and was there during the conversations leading up to it. I think a lot of people speaking on it never had it, or any other procedure done.

You're still missing the point. I already said I agreed with you but you're now looking for a cookie. Women will get put under, in an OR, and have someone do that through their belly button or not (not all places do it the newer way). Men can get it done in the office with local anesthesia (and I know this because I was there). Congrats lol.

In "most cases" it's safer. My husband had a hematoma from it for almost a month. Overall though, the only thing that got right is that it is much safer and shorter healing time. He was home an hour later. Reversible... Good luck. Even IF they say it is, it's USUALLY not the case. And respect should be mutual or what else do you have if you can't have that as a foundation?
/r/MensRights04/03/24 07:21 AM

I'm not disagreeing. I think it should work both ways. I understand why they do it, it's because when you're married it's a partnership not running solo. Hence the reason I said it's important to have a conversation. If you can't agree, maybe there's other decisions to be made. Was it fair for me? No. Is it what he wanted? Yes. I would expect him to respect my decision if I wanted my tubes tied and he wanted more children. I think if someone wants to off their baby, the man should have a say too…

See we were the opposite. My husband wanted a vasectomy because he said it was unrealistic for us to have more children with the economy the way it was, that we already had two losses in better our live children and he didn't want to see me go through that pain again, and that it was something that he decided he wanted to do. I wanted to have one more child, however, I took away some of my happiness to make sure that he was happy and I'm not sure about any other state but here if you're married …

I'm a woman and I get bashed by other women for being in the group. Then again, they are the 3rd wave weirdos that complain about men, and complain about not being able to have a house, but don't realize that most people that own houses are stable couples... Make it make sense

There are plenty of feminists that don't want equality. They want more rights, they want equal rights without equal responsibility hence the reason why many women didn't want the right to vote. They wanted to vote but they didn't want to be signed up for the fire brigade, but men still had to?

Coming from someone that has been married for 14 years, it's a slippery slope. I would never tell my husband to not have female friends. Neither of us had been unfaithful. Telling them to have 0 male friends is the same thing as telling them you don't trust them and that makes a toxic relationship that will not work out in the long run. I hope you do find someone that isn't a complete bitch, there are still some of us out there. 💞
/r/MensRights13/05/23 05:22 PM

My point was, they should be friends with some women. No reason not to. I'm married so obviously I'm not looking to sleep with anyone else, therefore, I can ONLY be friends with other men.

Being alive in current year. I have a dad, husband, and son and I fear for their futures. "Believe all women" is extremely dangerous and problematic. I have a friend doing 65 years for that BS and the appeals are so backed up still from COVID. I see a lot of boys/men not wanting to date because they either don't want to be accused of something or the females they try to date are insufferable feminist that want it all but also want it all done for them. This isn't even mentioning the fact that th…

I mean, it was worded pretty bad. "Stop being friends with women". I have many friends that are men because I can't stand most women. I'm also married so I'm pretty sure the whole dating guy would be inappropriate 😂 On the plus side, a few of my guy friends got married to a few of my girl friends

I was asked by one of THEM, "how can you be in a men's rights group?!" Well whatever you call yourself today, it's because I have a father, husband, and son. If you read that again, you'll see how important it is to stop tearing the men in your life down. I want strong men in my life, I have enough burden to take on without worrying about what society is doing to them or will do to them in the future. 😥

I mean, I'll just speak on the women's part. Have any of you seen what it looks like when a whole room full of women spend more than a few hours together? It's a damn nightmare. Never mind you beat me to it. I was going to say that it's not that we're losing rights, we are being put on a level playing Field. A lot of women didn't want the right to vote and men fought for the right for women to vote. The reason women didn't want the right to vote was because they did not want to be part of the fire brigade and that was one of the things that you got drafted to do when you registered to vote back in the day and basically become a volunteer firefighter. Female circumcision…

Why would I look at an unfertilized egg and think it has rights? A baby (clump of cells like you and I) comes from a fertilized egg. The person was simply stating that if a woman can kill a baby because she doesn't want it and a man doesn't get a say, it should work the other way as well. Are you saying you're against equality?

The worst thing you can be when homeless is a male been 16-18. If you're over 16 you can't go to a women's shelter with your mother and if you're under 18 you can't go to a men's shelter. Makes me so angry.

I have a friend who is currently doing 65 years in prison for apparently abusing his wife and molesting his daughter which he found out was actually not his daughter as soon as he asked for custody because his wife didn't want to divorce but he needed to get away from her because she was actually abusing him. As soon as he asked for custody then all of a sudden she said that he molested her daughter and smacked her around even though we heard her verbally abusing him on several occasions.

I'm probably going to get my woman card taken away for this but I believe that every person, regardless if they are man or woman, who falsely accuses someone of rape or abuse and that person gets charged for it and later found innocent, the person that falsely accused them should have to do the jail time that the supposed abuser was sentenced to.

That's the first thing I think of when I hear quotas and affirmative action. You have both the employee and all the other employees wondering if the person was hired because of their skill and their resume or just to feel a spot that needed to be filled.... In which country? The US is one of the only civilized countries that does this cosmetic surgery while most other countries do it for actual medical reasons. It was only in 1997 when fgm was banned in this country. Only 8% of men NEED to have it done.

Why would you even chop up a healthy baby? About 120 healthy baby boys die every year from circumcision complications. Female genital mutilation was outlawed in the US in...1997! It depends on the person. You're not required to find a certain body type attractive. I think her face is pretty but she's not my type. I think that obscenely huge muscles on a dude are unattractive as well. I'm not everyone, I'm just me. I personally think that the body positivity movement is doing some harm. I'm fat, I'll accept it... Yup, no reason to better yourself now. The people have spoken. My opinion.

It's really sad. Fuck people like that. It makes the rest of us that actually work hard and earn it still get looked at like that because of them. From a woman's point of view, I don't want to see people like me. I've had children and I'm squishy in the tummy area. I also don't want to see these super skinny models either. The average size of a woman is a size 8 which is healthy, quite a while ago since so many people are just fat now, the average size of most of the models (not these) are I think a 2 iirc? I don't mind seeing make models looking like that but tttt I think they should look more realistic. Not fat, but not all do body shots…

If there was some hidden patriarchy, I would say that women have an easier life in many ways. Men tend to put themselves in harms way more to protect women and children would be one thing, men are more likely to be the breadwinners in the family since they are more likely to do a higher amount of labor intensive jobs or pretty disgusting ones (thanks guys), and women often tend to spend more time with the children while the man fulfills his career because women, by nature, are more nurturing. People have to know where babies come from by now... Right? You smoke a pack of cigarettes and on the label it says may cause lung cancer but you can choose to still smoke it knowing that that could be an outcome. Mass Shootings and Masculinity, drafted by two University of California sociologists, told the commissioners that mass shootings are inherently “enactments of masculinity" That should have said a lot, lol

If they have a height requirement, they are probably going to overlook the best person to come into their life because they wouldn't give them the time of day. Their loss. Also, holy moly! Now I feel even shorter. 😂

Correct. Or about a whole group of people in regards to other things.

Oh, on the second slide. The person was a moron and said that babies were snipped for sanitary reasons but they obviously have no clue as to what they were talking about. It's just vanity. They must be from the US. Lol

I don't even think it's many, I think only some. Yes, I am saying not all women. Plenty of us are normal and comfortable enough to not care about how tall someone is because we actually like people for who they are.
/r/MensRights04/05/22 04:02 PM

Wtf? No normal person wants a part of their dick chopped off (but my body my choice doesn't apply to men) Vasectomies at birth? I don't think they know what they entails and, if you reverse it, there's still a chance that you can't have children after that not to mention possible complications. But hey, let's take more rights away from people. Why not? Amirite???

I personally give zero fucks. I met my husband playing video games and I didn't meet him in person until 7 days before we got married. I had no idea what he looked like, nor did I care. I've mostly dated men closer to my height, and not on purpose (but I do hate heels, lol). He ended up being a 5'11" ginger which certainly wasn't my type, but here we are 12.5 years later. Lol

It is absolutely an emergency reserve and has only been used how many times? Someone needs to stay behind and take care of the children.... The military does not allow both parents to be deployed at the same time for exactly that reason if both parents are military. It is in no way a man's duty to sacrifice more than a woman. I did my time and my husband did his time and we are both on a level playing Field in this house. There are many things that we do not agree on, we are from opposite sides …
/r/AntiFeminists20/04/22 04:29 AM

It saddens me to see that last sentence because I see it way too many times. People just need to get their shit together and do some research on both parents before making a decision.
/r/AntiFeminists20/04/22 04:23 AM

I mean I can also agree with that considering that with lower amounts of jobs available, people rush to sign up for the military because they know that it's guaranteed pay. In the current year there is no reason to actually have a draft. I know that when I enlisted in 2002 when I turned 18 and I was still in high school, it was right after 9/11, and every single day there was a long list of MOS's that were not even available or on a delayed entry.
/r/AntiFeminists20/04/22 04:22 AM

Right women should have always been included in the draft just as men have from the beginning then this wouldn't even be a discussion.
/r/AntiFeminists20/04/22 04:18 AM

It really is a sad time that we live in. If it wasn't for double standards, some people wouldn't have standards at all. One day a man will have equal rights when it comes to matters of family.

Equal opportunity should come with equal responsibility. It really isn't a very difficult concept to grasp. I don't know why men should be the ones that have to put their lives in danger for the same privileges that women don't have to. It never made sense to me.
/r/AntiFeminists20/04/22 03:40 AM

Actually as of October 2021 there's a big push for women registering to vote to also be entered into the draft. I am all for it. Equal rights across the board.

Honestly I think that feminism has been a huge downfall in American society. When women went to work, although due to the war it was necessary at the time, many did not return to the home. So with both parents working neither of them have time or as much time to spend with the children. The problem that we have now is that we're letting other people and schools raise our children instead of us. I personally work 55 hours a week from home, go to school right after from home, and both of my childr…

Exactly this. Men were the ones that fought for women's rights to vote because most women did not want the responsibility that came along with it such as being part of the fire brigade. As far as a pay gap, men are more likely to do different jobs in the same field. As far as nursing women are more likely to go into pediatrics or into the ER where as men are more likely to go into something in cardiology or neuroscience. Men and women both have different physical needs when it comes to exercises and honestly would be beneficial if you had a choice between two separate gyms if you so choose. One leaning towards strengths that women have and one leaning towards strength that men have it does actually make sense but people refuse to acknowledge it because they just want to be up in each other's way all the time no matter what.
