"Birth control should be for men."Happy cake day! I disagree. While both parties do 'suffer' due to an unwanted pregnancy I don't think we can really compare them to each other. While the father may pay more, the mother will carry the baby to term. The situations are not comparable. At least I don't think they are. They are both difficult situations but they are not the same. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/12 06:23 PM
Why we need feminismI see. But it is still true that the post-coital is no where near as simple as the pre-coital. The post-coital are often overlooked because of their nature. Also, you should not assume that termination was available to her. Not because they were illegal but for other external factors. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/12 03:37 AM
Why we need feminismexplain how it is a consequence or feminism? I fear I don't understand where you're coming from with that one. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/12 03:25 AM
Why we need feminismIt's considered a women right issue because she carried that baby to term and she doesn't get to walk away. Not to say that all men do walk away, or that it isn't hard for them to do. but the situations are different and are not really comparable to each other. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/12 03:20 AM
Why we need feminismThis does not mean that it is always easy to get. Nor is it ever easy to do emotionally. Pressure from the family, the father and society play a role in why this girl chose to follow through with her pregnancy. Forgive me if I come off as rude, but I am starting to get rather upset at people thinking that abortion is an easy choice for a women. Even if it is the right choice. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/12 03:13 AM
A deep fear of womenWe are taught that any man could be a rapist because the sad truth is (from what I've been I have been told) that you are probably not going to be raped by a stranger. Its going to be someone you know. Just to clear that up. The "Teach men not to rape" isn't silly. But rather should be "Teach people not to rape". I think it stems from that grey area that is when we talk about rape. If consent is withdrawn during intercourse for instance or if the rapist is not currently in their right mind. | 6 | "Birth control should be for men."I feel I may be misunderstanding you, But from where I stand it would seem that both parties suffer from an unwanted pregnancy in the US. Not just the men. From my understanding abortion may not be criminal in every state but is frowned upon. Not to mention that it is never an easy choice for a women to make, ever. Should she chose to have the baby and keep it, she would still have to carry it to term. There can still be complications in the pregnancy even in the US. There is still a lot of phys… | /r/MensRights | 12/11/12 02:18 AM
