I am in same lonely worried situation after 21 year marriage and kids 17 yo, can not agree on settlement and the wife makes 3x my income and refuses alimony and I don’t want to go to trial and hope her nasty bulldog attorney understands I cannot pay support and extreme extra curricular and the court costs and legal fees may be out of site. I am frozen in fear and dread

Yes sad when the mother cuts the dad out of the information , I am cut out as well and the mother “informs “ me with 10% of their day to day activities and schedules

I get it ! As much as the 16 yo twins are older they look at me differently as the wife lives with them and talks disparaging about me and even told them about the pre trial lies spoken

Wow that is painful. I most likely going to court trial as pre trial was waste of time and the ex attorney wrote up unfair separation agreement and don’t allow any negotiation zero

Thanks for sharing, I also am having tough time 6 months into the separation , therapy and now md prescribed ssri hope it helps cause I feel worthless and can’t get out of bed

I was married 20 years and in midst of divorce living in crappy rental Airbnb in basement of owner. I oversleep weekends and don’t even want to get out of bed depressed . Kids are juniors in hs and the wife was super cruel in pre trial speaking lies about how I treat the children . I hope I feel better soon but the costs of attorneys is wearing, I refused to sign a quick settlement as the language was controlled 100% by her attorney that would have destroyed me financially . I hope we go to conc…
