There's a handful of them in my company, so I have no choice but to interact with them, though I try and keep those interactions to a minimum. Don't pick something just because it makes good money....you will be miserable, and don't go to a huge university just so you can party. Save yourself a shit ton of money, knock out your gen eds at community college, and work part time to get a little more experience to help you narrow down your choices. Definitely anything that gets you out of the house and into a social environment....I personally play lots of sports (basketball and baseball), and I hang out with lots of guys that I meet through these activities. From what I've heard about both Japan and S Korea, apparently women over there are significantly less interested in dating foreigners. Makes sense....in most other Asian countries, dating a foreigner means access to better things.
