The procedure is low risk, very mild and relatively pain free - I just recall it being a day or two of mild discomfort. The possible complications are extremely low risk but worth knowing about. Talk to a doctor. It's also not 100% fullproof. There have been extremely rare cases of a vasectomy reversing itself after a few years.
