One can be happy and still look for higher levels of satisfaction. They’re not mutually exclusive. To your point, it does take more effort to produce traditional media than content for social media. One does not simply type an Oscar worthy movie into existence with their thumbs. There’s more crap on social media but you can filter it just like you do with movies and such if you’re aware of it. For example, I’m heavy into art and there’s a lot of cool art content on social media that I wouldn’t have been able to find on traditional media.
