That was my favorite part. They claimed it was all guys equally doing it but there is no way they would have missed out on that footage. They would have absolutely loves to get white guys on film doing that shit.

Honestly I'm thinking about hitting him in the face at thanksgiving dinner lol. I'm older so it's not a big deal only have to deal with it once or twice a year but it's annoying.

Thank you I will check that out. The reason I asked specifically for assertive is that I have a family member who puts me down a lot. It's hard just to avoid them altogether so I was hoping for help with a more confrontational style. I can usually do well with joking about it but I feel like I really need to stand up to this person.

Have you thought about TRT to treat the low testosterone?

This is good advice. I've lately been focused on my breathing especially. I am a chorionic shallow breather.

Actually very good advice. Any resources on being stoic/facing shit tests. I take everything to seriously. I'm very new here. Appreciate the help.

I literally can fight. I've taken bjj for and mauy thai. I'm no expert but I know enough to feel good. I'm saying I'm looking for other solutions. These aren't situations where fighting is an option

Not physical situations. I am too old to be getting into fights. I need to know how to calmly and firmly stand up for myself.

Bullied? Some but not badly. It would have been less if I was better at standing up for myself. I am not looking for physical retaliations. I am not talking about in a bar or anywhere I'd want to fight. I'm talking about being able to calmly and firmly standup for myself without it feeling like someone is tp standing on my chest and freezing up. Sounds like were kind of in the same boat.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
