The current "women are wonderful effect" stems from the fact that women DIDN'T have any power and therefore could not have done anything bad on a large scale. If you read Nietzsche you would know that not having the ability to exert one's will does not make one good. However, generally people will fall into this trap. As for why the narrative changed, I cannot say for certain. It may have had to do with more "naturalistic" ways of thinking in which philosophers sought to critique old institution…

I understand the concern and I do honestly condemn what they are doing. But take the food pyramid or what they told us about drugs for instance, they won't be totally duped by this stuff forever. Though it will cause a lot of frustration in the mean time.
