What your going through is not unusual. Most people growing up have to break away from their parents authority at some point. Some do it and end up breaking off completely with their parents and other renegotiate the relationship in some way and end up retaining the connection. Your 25 years old now and under no obligation to do anything your father says you should. There really is no reason why anyone at this stage of your life should "drag you down".

I was married for 20 years before my wife passed away. She never asked me questions like that, or similar ones. If you give off a vibe of independence and keep up your hobbies/friends etc a woman will know what the answer will be and will never dare ask it.

People often regard being "set up" as an insult to them. Its why a lot of people just never do it to their friends and family. The women in this story sound really dumb.

I saw some low level combat in the army in the early 1980s (not the US army), and really most women wouldn't be able to handle most of what we had to do. The same is true of men beyond a certain age as well. A great deal of what we had to do involved digging holes in the ground (weapons pits and latrines) and carrying lots of heavy things around (stores and ammo). It also involved not washing for weeks on end. Wars are often held in godforsaken places just organising general survival involves a …

I think she would have slept with some of the sugar daddies, not all of them but some, certainly. I tried being a sugar daddy to two young women a couple of years ago. My wife had passed away and I had tried dating 30s women and was sick them trying to ramp it into a LTR. I'm 50, professionally employed and didn't really want to remarry. I have kids so I don't want a LTR messing with that. So I tried sugar babies. Just to occasionally go out with a young woman, with absolutely so strings attache…

It can depend a bit on the workplace situation. Where I work I do pretty much ignore most of the women there, or at most talk to them in a polite but reserved fashion. But I am a partner in the firm I work for, and so work on my own projects for clients and choose the staff who I want work for me. Most are men and the couple who are women I don't talk much to except to tell them what I expect them to do. If they are unhappy about the situation then I suggest to them that they should try get work…

You have to read between the lines with this one. When she said that jeff responded to hearing she was pregnant by saying "Wow, that’s amazing! That’s so great", I thought oh my what a loser. But then she up and says "Unfortunately, it ultimately didn’t work out with Jeff". At that point I almost fell of my chair laughing. She was pumped and dumped and barley even seems to realise it.

I think this is a viable option. Just tell her you were staying in a place that you were thinking of buying. When she asks you how you got the money just say you sold part of your business. He is not married to the girl and quite entitled to have business etc that she is not aware of. If I was him though I would just tell her the truth and why. Just say also that the condo is his work residencecy. If she can't accept that and show some empathy for his problems then I dont think she is worth stay…

OK here is my story. When I got married 20 years ago my wife was working for diamond merchant and had a bit of trouble deciding what she wanted. Her boss at the time admitted that telling the difference between a real one and fake one was getting harder all the time, and it was just a matter of time (so he thought) before the diamond industry would collapse. He even admitted that most jewelery stories had a small amount of fakes in them that the shop owners just couldn't detect. So what was my w…

What exactly do you mean by"super supportive"? Does she: a) work and support you financially while you study, b) literally help you with your study, going through old exam papers and cases to help prep you for own exams, or c) cook lunch for you and have sex with you and then make herself scarce so you can concentrate on your study. You make it sound like all she is doing is refraining from nagging you to drop out of college and get a job or criticise you for not having money and not being able …

Your mother needs to get used to you disagreeing with you. I've been arguing all my life with my mother, and its just the ebb and flow of normal life. Likewise with my sisters, wife and daughter. If you disagree with them, just say what you think. If they cry, just shake your head sadly and walk away. That said I can't remember any female in my family start crying because they were losing an argument.

Its just a female fantasy movie. Once upon a time it was the shy inexperienced, girl who won the heart of the great big, alpha doctor. Now its the slutty, loser girl who does. The movie says more about the target audience than anything else.

There are a few, but not so many. I've known some who quite enjoy easing up on work once the kids leave home and try to do more things that they have always been interested in but never had time for, often they enjoy taking an interest in their children's lives as young adults. But I've known far more who just get more and more bitter about their lost youth and dead end jobs.

I watched about half of this. Whether its fake or not is hard to tell, but it is fake in at least that the organisers chose from many, contestants and pick ones that will appear sensational. A boring, faithful, honest couple would not have been put on this show. I think its also fake in that the couple already know whats going to come out (and know their marriage is doomed) so think that they might as well cash in on it. I thought the reaction of the family is interesting. The father and sister …

All surveys on sexual matters are flawed, not just because people lie but also because of samplying errors. People who are not very sexually active tend not to take part in these things, whereas people who are very active tend to love talking about this stuff. Historically surveys on sexual activity have tended to exaggerate reality, and no one really knows for sure just how much.

This is not really the place to look for this sort of advice, most here I think would tell you to stay away from marriage as much as possible. But for what its worth I'll tell you want I think after 20 years of marriage, and three kids (now all teenagers). Mainly i'll say this because children really do give you a chance to live your life all over again, and they are well worth it (at least mind are). Choose wisely. First of all I would say marry someone from a solid family background, no single…

Im not sure we can tell who won because we know so little about the guy. All she says is that he has his own business that sells gym memberships. So he has no profession or trade, but instead is a salesman. Is that a good thing? who can tell? Some do OK, many salesmen struggle. And anyway how old is he? older than her, is he fat, bald, divorced (multiple times)? All we really know is that he is the sort of guy that marries a CC riding, wall hitting, working class woman from the North of England.…

It's an Australian case so he can probably extract himself from it if he wants to. He will lose 50% of his stuff but at 23 he probably won't have much to divide. As for the DNA evidence it is recognised by Australian courts. My brother in law married an Australian girl and after they had a baby he immigrated to Australia. The authorities refused to accept the birth certificate as proof and insisted on a DNA test. a girl can pretty much put anyone's name on a birth certificate as the father so th…

Someone raised the issue about how some highly feminist societies can tolerate prostitution and coming from a place where it is legal ill try explain what I think. The issue as well as being a male v female is also an intra-female issue. Where it is legal, a lot of politicians would prefer just to ignore it, as its a bit too controversial and most dont really know where they stand because of the complexity of it. Also there are always going to be associations of retired pros who will speak out f…

I live in a place where prostitution is legal and have used them from time to time. On the whole it doesnt change the blue pill mindset of most young men as most dont use them, but instead still go out looking for love etc. I think their main clientele are omegas and married men, which means their main function seems to be to stop the omega guys from going crazy from a lack of sex and keeping marriages together by giving the married men an outlet without having to resort to extra marital affairs…

Its an interesting thing, and I have seen it happen. I am 50 years old and live in small city (of around 500,0000) and from time to time run into old flames. The varied reaction on their part is at times quite curious. Some act like they simply hate me and can't bare saying hello to me in public. Others seem indifferent to me and just want to move on. I must admit though there are a couple who treat me like an old school or army buddy and will gossip for hours about the "good old days" or how I …

Asian women can seem a bit odd. I've had a few say I look like gere or Clooney. I think they find the typical Asian look of black hair and brown eyes so boring that any white middle aged man with a bit of grey in his hair looks like Clooney to them. And some seem to lack tack. I've heard some say derogatory things about the people of my country to my face and it never seems to occur to them that it might offend me.

The same thing happened to me about 20 years ago. I was with a girl for around 2 years, and we got along great until she out of the blue just denotated the whole thing and ran off after another man (who pumped and dumped her). I found it very hard to understand, but girls, even quite normal looking ones, can try to go looking for a bit more thrill and excitment in their lives by doing this sort of thing. Look it really is a common female trait but many either control it or channel it into fighti…

As a non american could someone please explain to me what on earth the sex life of students has to do with universities. Where i live if a girl is raped she goes to the police. Well for what its worth i let you know what i think. Ive been married for 20 years. First of all the only reason to marry is to have kids. Without kids there really is no point to it. Second, make sure you live in a jurisdiction where divorce is not really bad. It does differ from state to state and country to country. Do some research. Thirdly marry a girl who comes from a large, and intact family. My wife has three sisters and a brother. She is close to them along with her parents. Avoid marry…

Deny everything and dont talk to police without representation present. If its too expensive to employ a lawyer then take along a friend who is one. Years ago when i worked in the law i saw this on occasion..."oh by the way, this person is a friend of mine who happens to be a lawyer etc". Police hate interviewing suspects with lawyers present as they can get them into a shit load of trouble. It greatly constrains their questioning.

Part of the problem here is the type of industry and types of women involved. Ive been on the boards of trainning companies and schools that had all female staff. In each case there was some general female style infighting but on the whole they operated ok. In each case though they had exceptional CEOs or principals and employed fairly normal suburban women rather than these film corporate types.

I always thought it sounded a bit strange. I mean when i was in the army i spent a lot of time digging weapons pits, occasionaly being sniped at and not bathing for weeks on end. The food was crap and tge weather was as hot as hell. Miles from anywhere too. I really couldnt imagine women even then putting up with that sort of thing.

I left the army nearly 30 years ago ( not the US) one and we didnt have women then in combat units. Office work and like there were some. I saw some low level combat. How do women today cope in line regiments, carrying all that shit about like we had to and do all that the pick and shovel work we all always seemed to have to do? I foind it pretty much unbearable, and i ws pretty fit and strong in those days.

Id be wary of a woman who didnt change her name. I actually did marry a woman who didnt, she is chinese and in China the custom is to take, and keep the fathers name. After a few years she changed to mine as the kids all had mine and it seemed like she wasnt part of the group. Ie Mr Smith, the young Smith kids and Mrs Wang. I understand why she didnt feel the need to do it when we married but an American woman who refuses is making a statement, and not a nice one.

I still think George is pretty beta. In his relationships he does seem intimidated by women. Its just that he is a lieing, deceiptful and even clever beta. These things are not mutually exclusive. Oh by the way Jerry does discuss hypergamy. Remember when he says that women wont go out with a guy unless she respects what he does. Whereas a man couldnt care less what a woman dods as long as she is pretty. Man: so you work in tbe chicken slaughter house etc.

I really wouldnt let it bother you. As i said Ive never experienced it. I think most people are scared of seeeming racist in real life to criticise me for marrying an asian. Funnily enough both my wife and sister in law have gotten jobs at various times in female dominated areas because the employer couldnt stomache the thought of employing another middle aged western woman. Seems like its not just the men who are getting sick of american women.

Ive been married to a chinese woman for nearly 20 years and have never had a woman criticise me for marrying a foreignor. I have seen that sort of thing talked about on the internet but never seen it in real life. I think if one did I'd probably just call them racist for hating asian people.

This sort of discusssion makes me feel so so old. I served in the military back in the early 1980s (not the USA), and saw some active service. It was very uncommon then for a woman to betray her soldier husband and was regarded as being almost tantamount to treason. For a woman to commit adultery is bad enough but to do it while her husband is risking his life!! I shoildnt read these threads. They just make me depressed at the state of the world.

Is this normal conversation? Do real people use these sorts of expressions. "you gotta lock her down". It sounds so wierd. The advice you are getting here from others is pretty good. If you walk away from this woman you are probably walking away from the kid as well. If thats what you want then just do it. A man should hide some of his wealth away. I learnt this from my old father (hes now 80) when i was a boy. When i was a kid i liked stamp and coin collecting and my working class father showed me an old gold sovereign he had (a pre-WWI gold coin). He told me he had a few more, plus other coins, but he had hid them so they wouldnt get stolen if the house was robbed. He also said he coildnt show me them because he forgot where he hid them. I think you should keep the apologising to a minimum and only give it to those who will accept it in the right spririt. Many people, especially women, will just take it and use it against you. As for in marriage, ive been married 20 years and hardly ever do it. I really cant see that a woman would want to stary married very long to a man who was perpetually apologetic.

I liked the show in its early series. It really was red pill versus blue. Alan the beta gettkng divorced raped by his two ex wives and Charlie cruising through life. One of the themes was who was going to have the most influence on Jake, the beta father or the alpha uncle. In the end i think it was the former. Look an interesting affirmation of the red pill is to simply ask anyone which character they liked more: Alan or Charlie. We all liked Charlie Harper, esp. the female fans of the show. The…

Some pretty good advice here. Try a short contract in one of the technical services. The army has plenty of them too by the way: engineers, logistics, communications etc. I went the other way and did an 8 year stint inthe infantry.
