I don't feel like I'm lying to myself. I face the world but I don't dwell on the shit I have no control over. Also, the world definitely loves me. Perspective I guess. Hope you find happiness somehow.

I'm not gonna Eeyore around about that either. Where there's a will, there's a way.

If that's your truth, go for it. I'm not gonna Eeyore around dreading the day my life comes crashing down around me though.

Yeah too much doom and gloom for me. I'm out.

Well yes. Because this person obviously has regrets about those decisions.

I don't think this needs too be gendered. Older men can give advice because they've been around the block too. Doesn't really have to be about age necessarily either. You just have to discern if advice is good or not.

I'd have to research it. Also, why does that matter to you personally. Fuck society. Be a human who is deserving of love and you'll get it. Make the world a better place in the ways you can and attract people who care about you.

Because it's a heavy stressor and will lead to a worse life?

Yes and these thoughts often translate to that IMO.

I don't know that what you've said is true.

All throughout history? Love for fathers. Love for sons. Love for husbands. Love for many leaders. So many examples. You might even be the product of love.

No? Men have been loved and hated throughout history. Same is true for everyone and everything. If you lack love it's because you don't love yourself or you're an asshole.

That's not actually how the world works. Maybe that's my personal experience but it's an incredibly negative way to think and I think it is more a self fulfilling prophecy than a reality.

No. This is a terrible thing to think. It's the road to inceldom. If you start feeling that way, get off the internet.

No it isn't.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
