1	How to deal with unmedicated ADHD I struggle with this as well. Took me a few months to figure out what was happening and convince my doctor, she'd never seen it before. Turns out I'm a fast metabolizer, which makes the effective duration of meds a lot shorter, which in return makes the comedown so intense. I can just feel the meds getting flushed out of my system after a few hours. Started on dexedrine, but had to take it every 3h and would still feel a comedown in between.
