Most of them are confined to their homes and married off by the time they are 18 or even younger. And all the existing ones have to now accommodate women also, while it's totally ok to have a women's only group. 1	Tired of the bullshit narrative that India is a shit place for women. Debunking this once and for all. Like 5% of the female population in India, have access or are able to utilise these laws mentioned here. 80-90% of the population are lower middle class or below and people there are highly religious and follow very orthodox societal traditions. Majority of rape cases in India goes unreported and most of them happens within the family and the girl side is told to hush up the incident to keep the family "honour" or to make it worse gets her married to the person who raped her. Also fyi marital rape isn't a crime in India. 3	Women are more aggressive and violent during and before a relationship From my personal experience of my parents and other relatives, yes relatively the aggression done by women are minor compared to men. But agression from men usualy happens after weeks/months/years of daily mental and physical abuse were at some point the abuse tips past his boiling point. Im not justifying physical abuse or any abuse. But these things happens for a reason. -1	Department of Education says schools can’t use ‘national statistics’ to justify women-only scholarships, programs. Totally wrong, higher education and being employed is more accessible to males in India, much more than girls. There is still a huge social stigma about women being employed or working after marriage or even doing higher education. It does give an unfair advantage to girls who belong to the top 1%, but given how dire the situation of rest of girls have to live with, I think it a reasonable trade off.
