the issue he's pointing out is that these feelings are often extreme but completely baseless and then treated as if they are entirely valid He's claiming these women are narcissistic. Women perfectly know icks are just feelings. It's just that this feeling of repulsion is valid and something they are perfectly entitled to feel, not something that can be negotiated. Did you see a woman having a preference again and got offended? Why, did calling OP out offended you too?

"The ick" just means revulsion or disgust. Having these feelings has nothing to do with narcissism. Woman make no such claim about their revulsion being a "divine message". Did you see a woman having a preference again and got offended?

but.... isn't that a GOOD THING?! No. I would rather have people take care of themselves instead of relying on the whims of someone else for their well-being.

Would you take a full time job that only paid an allowance? Of course not. That's why women who chose quit their careers after they get married astonish me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 06:15 PM

They are being compensated by having their living expenses paid for by their husbands. Besides, how often does a woman with a master's degree (one that helps them earn more money at least) even choose to be a stay-home wife? In all of the couples I know with such an agreement, the wife stopped working because her salary was roughly equal to childcare.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 06:02 PM

Because she chose to give up her career and income.

No, what he wants is not homophobia. And not seeing homophobia when there is none is also not homophobia. Neither of the things you said have anything to do with homophobia.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 01:34 PM

Where is the homophobia here?

Women do not consider it red flag if a well adjusted man recognizes that his actions can cause discomfort to women. They consider it a red flag if man is terrified of women because he thinks he will be accused of rape and arrested if he interacts with a woman. There are some men who are in the latter category but claim they are in the former in order to downplay their dysfunctionalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/26 09:03 AM

She's far less likely to find him attractive if he's shy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 03:49 PM

Women don't approach because they don't want to be with passive or shy men. They make no attempts to hide this. This is not gaslighting nor lying. This is you not being able accept that women around you don't want you.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 03:46 PM

Yeah. I do not understand how your last paragraph relates to rest of the post, however.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 05:44 AM

And it's a ridiculous premise, just like the example other commentator gave you.

I don’t care if he feels entitled. Well other woman do. That's why they pay for their share.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 05:50 PM

Do you think you know women's motivations better than them?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 05:45 PM

Women can often more times than get all the results they want WITHOUT making the first moves. Most of the time, the result women want is men not interacting with them and leaving them alone. And they get that result by not approaching men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 07:41 PM

this is something even the most ardent bluepillers never fight on this sub Wouldn't OP's claim be something bluepillers support?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 07:30 PM
3

Red Pillers say that women prefer taller men, a factual statement, and the Blue Pillers will do anything to deny this Is this what really happens? Or do Red Pillers actually say women hate short men because they are evil? Because a lot of the times, they make this claim and pretend they made a factual statement.

I don't think they are incapable of informing. I just think they are less likely to do so. In a similar way a sexual encounter can and should be stopped when receiving a no after a yes, it can be started when receiving a yes after a no. Second is not disrespecting someone's autonomy nor being a sex pest.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:53 AM
0

Wrong. I gave two arguments. Firstly, I implied that asking someone for sex multiple times is not "ok" in the sense of being socially acceptable, but it is "ok" in the sense of being consensual. Secondly, I said that it is not rape in other ways than technical. "It's not technically rape" implies that it's not rape only because the letter of the law (or social convention) of consent. But asking someone for sex multiple times does not also violate spirit of the law (or social convention) of conse…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:48 AM

I can also ask them, thus respecting their autonomy and not be sex pest.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:36 AM
0

It's also not rape in other ways than technical too. That's like saying "Eating food is not technically murder"
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:33 AM
6

They can also tell me after I ask them. And I do have a reason to ask them. That reason is women tend to be quite passive.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:31 AM

There’s scary statistics online that say women who get breast implants and nose jobs have like a 75% chance of divorcing their man. Hell even weight loss surgery has something like an 80% chance of divorce from the woman’s side. Can you please share this statistics?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 10:46 PM

Just because you are unable accept that someone else has differing views than you does not mean I am trolling. These two arguments have the same core point, that someone's words cannot be relied upon to determine whether they consented or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 10:21 PM
1

I am being very sincere. Perhaps you think this is trolling because you are not open to new ideas?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:08 PM
1

So if she said "yes" after asking 10 times, but out of desire, then is the act consensual to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:40 PM
1

You are tying consent to want. Some rapists try to defend themselves by saying that their victim wanted it in order to claim that the act was not rape. But in reality, what determines whether a sexual act is rape or not is consent, not desire. If were to want a sexual act yet not consent to it, it would be rape. You are similarly trying to tie the consensuality of a sexual act to desire, when it is about consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:38 PM
0

It it very similar to sleazy salesman indeed. But it's not rape nor coercion.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:23 PM
2

There could be a negative consequences to refusing a sexual act iny any circumstance. (For example, a husband refusing to have sex with his wife could lead to relationship strains.) Does that mean each and every sexual act non consensual?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:19 PM
4

In a similar way woman can change their mind after saying yes, they can also change their mind after saying no.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:16 PM
-1

Sex with someone who does not want to have it is rape. That's not true. Sex with someone who does not consent to it is rape. You can freely consent to something yet not want it. You sound like rapists who try to defend themselves by saying their victim wanted it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 08:14 PM

This description could be used describe a woman on a first date who has not explicitly announced a desire to have sex but is not necessarily opposed to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 12:23 AM

Thank you. I needed this ounce of sanity after arguing with people that defend the study.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 12:17 AM

Could you share the others please?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 12:15 AM

I say this because I think she is attractive and I wish to woo her. Two reasons you gave are not mutually exclusive at all. Vast majority of woman can understand when a compliment on their physical appearance is done for romantic/sexual purposes. It is not a lie by omission to not austically announce to her your baser desires. She knows your intentions. Hurling a drink is an action only the most unhinged women would make as a repsonse to a compliment. Most women would just leave the situation qu…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 12:08 AM
1

I will you give the same example I gave other person. Telling a woman she's beautiful.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 11:29 PM
1

And 1 is very clearly indicating lying. I had this conservation this someone else in this thread. Why assume that it indicates lying?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 11:20 PM
2

I do not misunderstand anything at all, for I do not consider telling a woman what she wants to hear necessarily lying. I give an example of this in my previous comments. You are the one assuming men in the study were lying when there was nothing to suggest that. Now, if you only called someone beautiful for the act of sex....that's a bit of coercion. No, this has nothing to do with coercion. Would you call a woman complimenting a man to seduce him coercion?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:45 PM
3

No, you did claim something: Every single thing you listed is a coercion. This is your comment. You claimed that every single thing he listed was coercion. You're continuing to misunderstand the context. I am not misunderstanding the context. I am trying to view this from a non-nefarious perspective. And that's not my problem. Yes, you are making this other people's problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:38 PM
1

I do not feel that I coerced someone. I am pointing out that you claimed that this was coercion: "Told her what she wanted to hear", then agreed with me it was not. Nowhere in the sentence "Told her what she wanted to hear" it was stated men were telling lies. You were the one who assumed it was.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:28 PM
3

What I did was telling a woman what she wanted to hear to have sex with her. You admit to this being not being coercion. So you admit that not everything in the list is coercion?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:22 PM
1

I told this to women I was trying to have sex with before. I genuinely thought they were beautiful. Do you think this is coercion?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:16 PM
1

First one: "Told her what she wanted to hear". Women generally want to be told that they are beautiful.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:09 PM
1

Please do explain why telling a woman that she's beautiful is coercion.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:06 PM

No, for primary threat white blood cells deal with is not other white blood cells.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:38 AM

They have a right to date how they want, and men that don't want to go along with that are free to move on Of course. People need to get over the idea that they have a right to dictate how others choose to live their lives. Agreed. I do not think I have a right to dictate how other choose to live their lives and don't try to dictate it. If it doesn't concern you then it is none of your business. It does concern me actually, these women are in my dating pool and they expect me to pay for the date…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 01:08 AM
2

So you should agree that practicing consent means respecting the first no. Of course. And respecting the yes afterwards.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:44 PM
2

Sorry, my point was about these actions not being rape, so I thought you are arguing for that. I agree it is disrespectful and selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 05:30 PM
4

If someone is choosing to do something with you and you can tell they don't really want to, it's common human decency to give them their way out by declining and stopping pressuring them. Indeed. But not doing so is not rape. Don't pretend this is about "respect". I am not pretending at all. There were things in my life I was not keen on doing and could freely refuse. Yet I did these things anyways because I said I was going to. I fully respect other people's choices to do the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 05:18 PM
11

It is annoying and irritating. It is not rapey.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 05:04 PM
5

I believe in women's right to choose. This include right to choose to have sex even if they are not excited about it. There are people out there who don't respect a woman's consent, because they believe she was not passionate enough for consent to be real. I condemn such people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 05:02 PM
4

I agree with your point about the fire departments. However, militaries protect against other countries' militaries which happen to be predominantly male. Similarly, police protect against violent criminals which happen to be predominantly male too. Her point is that men as a collective cannot claim to be protectors if they are the danger women need protection from.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:57 PM

My communication skills are just fine. Women's enthusiasm can change. Besides I never said anything about enthusiastic consent. Informed, freely given yet apathetic consent is still consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:38 PM
3

For example, wearing a makeup makes you a rapist because it affects man's consent. Wokest side of me actually agrees with that but rational part of my brain keeps me grounded.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:35 PM
10

Then these women are entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:28 PM

Depends. Do they want this from men who wish to pay for dates? Or do they want this from men who don't want to do so?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:16 PM
9

A woman changing her mind will say so. And they do. No need to keep asking There is no need to keep asking I agree. But most woman are quite passive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:11 PM
6

Some people are so neurotic that they consider making an offer to be pressuring. Reasonable people cannot be expected to believe any "yes" they receive is forced and actually means "no".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 02:37 PM
10

Through communication. The same way you verify your sexual partners do not feel bullied into sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 02:29 PM
10

It is not. What I am saying is there is terminally online people who are neurotic enough to look at every action through a lens of fear and refuse to believe consent was given freely and ethically.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 02:14 PM
11

Consent can be given later after an initial no. Woman are allowed to change their mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 01:59 PM
13

I do know that. Do you know about the existance of terminally online, maladjusted people who take offense on behalf of others and perceive regular romantic interactions as abuse?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 01:52 PM
11

Making an offer multiple times is not rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 01:41 PM
9

its about making it safer for women to have their consent actually recognized when its real and when its not. And who determines whether consent is real or not? Woman that is a part of the actual sexual act that's being committed or someone else?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 01:37 PM
10

Who are you even arguing against, OP?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 01:32 PM
16

Sexually unsuccessful men are ones not desired by the women, by definition. These men are considered entitled because they are trying force themselves into situations where they are not welcome. Nothing weird about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 12:26 PM

And someone finds someone else unattractive enough to be dealbreaker, they don't consider that person a part of their dating pool nor a potential partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 11:16 AM
2

I am saying this as a man. Note that I am not complaining nor judging woman who do that negatively.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 11:05 AM

I, as a straight man, do not want to date other men. I don't view being a man as something negative.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 11:04 AM
2

That's because many women consider being active in romance a worse prospect than being single. They would rather see the man they are in love with marry another woman than ask him out.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 05:49 AM
17

If you sit passively and expect others to approach you are much less likely to enter a relationship. Women are fine with this. Men are not. That's why advice given to men is about taking the initiative.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 07:09 PM
8

But if we flip the situation and men say they prefer dating younger women, the reaction is completely different. Suddenly, those men are called "creepy," told they "have nothing to offer women their own age," or accused of wanting to take advantage of younger women's inexperience or naivety. In reality, no one actually cares. Did you experience this or did you see a post about a young woman not liking old men and felt offended?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 04:22 PM
5

Considering most men have zero standards and will accept anyone, little to no women. Are you trying to say men are complaining because they want women to be easy as they are?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 08:20 PM
26

we simply have far less relationships happening. many men are no longer interested in approaching women at all let alone getting married and having kids. And women are perfectly fine with this.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 12:31 AM
22

Women perfectly know what they want. It's just that what they want has nothing to do with what most men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 09:34 PM
4

Exactly OP. Intelligence agencies use honeytraps to gain info -> It is stupid for a man to marry a woman. Perfectly logical reasoning there. Ultimately because of this phenomenon, a guy getting married in 2026 or further is signing a bad deal. I encourage you to take this to logical conclusion and stay away from women entirely. Risk of getting married would be too high otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 05:58 PM
2

Something that opposite gender finds desirable. It does not necessarily involve cheating on your partner, but people who cheat on their can exhibit these qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 02:47 AM
2

I do not feel men prone to anxiety have no positive qualities. I do feel that significant amount of men who endlessly complain about women and dating are prone to anxiety and have little to none positive dating qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 02:32 AM
6

These vents do not exist in a vacuum. Resentment in them are carried to daily interactions in the man's life. As for potential cheaters, they most likely have some positive qualities about them, such as not being a ball of anxiety and misery. Therefore, women like them and are less inclined to assume the worst about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 02:17 AM
10

There is nothing ridiculous about this. It's like saying "you need to listen to music in order to understand what good music is".
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 09:48 PM
6

wealth is an extraordinarily weak influence on men's attraction She said attraction in quotes, implying she does not believe these men are truly attracted to these women. And your claim changed from "men don't care about women's money" to "men are not attracted to women's money". These are entirely different points. you're projecting She's not projecting anything at all. She's simply talking about the situations that happened to her and her friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 12:39 AM

It's perfectly fine to not want to live together with a partner before marriage. Just keep in mind divorce process can be difficult or expensive if it turns out you have incompatibilities that were only discovered after you started to live together.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 05:11 PM

Pretty much every woman understood your OP, their answer was simply "no".
