This is where having a disciplined and stoic mindset and belief system comes into play. Life in general (especially for men) sucks. It's going to be hard and unfair. You just have to persevere through hardship and be resilient.

I'm going to sound like a complete asshole, but I think you're just really insecure. The bullying you experienced as a child was necessary for you to grow as a man. You were fat. Society punished you for it and held you accountable for your inadequacies. Men didn't respect you, and girls didn't want to be with you. In the end, it worked. Even though we're much more technologically advanced than our ancestors, women still need men by default. If all the men in the world were to disappear, women wouldn't survive.
