I work in commercial HVAC&R controls. Not many women in this industry; but the ones who are that I've met? Top notch. Like, ridiculous. Some of the best. Women probably don't get into this industry because...Why would they? I got here by accident myself! Not many people get into shit like this on purpose.

Telling someone under the influence that they could've acted differently is a bit unfair. It's a known fact that intoxicated people do not make good choices. Like, ever. I hate that statistic, because it's used to make it sound like employers deliberately hire women at a lower wage, which isn't true: it's called females have lower paying jobs, on average, because they're doing different types of work, on average.
