Darling, calm down, no one here is trying to insult anyone. yes, i have shown him and told him that I like him that way, which you'd know if you had read the comments as well as my 'clusterfuck' before insulting me. Unfortunately life isn't always black and white, it's not always yes or no, sometimes it's maybe. Yes, guys do this, too. And no, insulting and brushing off is not contributing.

haha, thanks that's nice. not so much, only when a guy smells really nice ;)

thanks for the advice. I've told him that I like him very much, that he's important to me etc. I guess I haven't actually told him what it is I like about him. and dropping hints is not my thing, I don't know how and I don't understand them when someone else does it so I tend to be more straightforward than most. Which can be difficult for some to deal with of course, but that's the only way I can do it.

I think it depends a lot on what kind of woman you want, not saying either is bad. some prefer stability, others prefer adventure

I learnt that you can't change someone the hard way ;) I would just like him to relax a bit etc...but you're right

Well I don't want to cross the loony line and be one of those who will scream I love you and I want your children, marry me! if there's not enough coming back from him, but everything that's not crossing the line has already been done and said by me :)

hmm... ok, so I can only speak for myself and I'm not a scientist, but yes I do believe it's the whole immune system compatibility thing. The reasons why I don't sleep with every guy I meet are quite simple. First there's the issue of potential or perceived threat. When I know someone and I like him as a friend I feel comfortable around him and won't feel threatened when he gets close to me. Then there's the issue with the sense of disgust, which, as far as I know, is more present or stronger in…

yeah, you're right. thank you!

oh he is, which is why I like him. but these are things that have to do with being supportive and being a good friend. not with checking for IOIs or lowering my bitch shield

I guess I should, but it's not easy

maybe if your read a bit more you would know that I'm doing all I can, which is plenty, but his actions drive me away from him. Also it should, after the initiative has been taken, be mutual. Interesting name you have, considering you're not actually contributing. troll me thinks?

hmm.. no idea. could be. I know he's had at least one serious relationship

no, i'm too much of a chicken to ask him directly if he's using techniques that I found on the internet to get in my pants. I'm planning on telling him and I have given him plenty of indications, however whenever I want to talk to him his action get in the way and they piss me off too much.

yeah well, I generally agree, but it always depends how you use the pua stuff and why...this 'letting go of the outcome' sounds very liberating

very true. one is strength, the other is weakness

very true, unfortunately. what girl doesn't want a guy who will just grab her, kiss her passionately and have animalistic, hot sex with her.. Well I do, probably not every one. and submissive guys just don't embody passion... I want a man, a partner, not a child I have to take care of....you know? so yes, it makes sense

yeah... I think it was quite traumatic for him... I did tell him that I'm always there for him no matter what. then I also mentioned that I want to talk to him, because all this back and forth, hot and cold is getting to me and I'd like to be honest with him, but not via text. but since then he's even weirder, if that's possible. I guess I'll just give him some space now, maybe he'll come around. Thanks for all your advice and the insights :)

I wish you could tell him exactly that.... it was a barista and I thought he was just being friendly to sell more coffee so I was friendly back, as in I smiled back at him. Not the way I flirt with a guy when I want to get some, if you know what i mean.

wow! thank you, this makes so much sense now! gonna have to think about that a bit because I'm not sure if that might be the case with me that I'd lose attraction. I know that he was in a very controlling relationship before and she had some actual mental issues, so I can see where the concern might be coming from.

things I didn't like included stuff like when we were cuddling he would suddenly get up and start flirting with another girl (I now learnt that guys are supposed to do this at the end of a song/film or something to make the girl feel more competitive and less comfortable or something) or giving me excuses to 'loosen up' and kiss him e.g. it's your b-day you have to do something crazy (lower anti-slut defence), hugging me for a long time and cuddling, kissing my head, then suddenly saying 'you're…

Never stop gaming ever? Ok, I do have to ask this now. I thought the pua techniques were meant to enable guys to feel more confident and be more social = not alone, but playing games is just a way of always keeping people at arm's length. Or is it really only about getting laid? Not trying to sound judgemental or anything, I'm honestly curious. And I know you said others do this, not you, but maybe you understand them better than I could? To your next bit, this really sounds like him, he gets qu…

Why am I getting down voted? I'm not against pua in general, just the way some, in particular my friend, apply the techniques and take it too far. It's no use making yourself feel superior to the person you're trying to convince if in turn they feel bad
/r/seduction18/10/12 02:23 AM

I wasn't quite as forward but I did make it very obvious that I like him. I think he's kinda hiding behind the techniques, rather than gaining confidence from them
/r/seduction18/10/12 02:18 AM

I completely understand that and I think it's quite important to be confident as so many women think all they have to do is wiggle their assets and guys will do whatever for them, however my guy is kind of sliding off the path I guess... taking it too far to protect himself and concentrating on the bitch shield etc bit too much :(

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
