True from a rational point of view but somehow those less attractive more stable guys still end up divorced and cheated.

True but this creates all those cheatings, frustrations and divorces in the long term. They settle for the lesser men, but in the end won’t be satisfied with them.

Yeah but she has the options of men she is not attracted to just as you mentioned. The problem comes from she either stays alone or settles for a men she is not attracted to.

Sry for your situation. You are upfront but the world doesn’t treat you that way. I also presumed the other way as men meet so many women who are not it just seems as default.

Either you say what you mean or not. 1 being upfront 2 playing mind games. I don’t know what other options you have. Men are pushy because they assume your no is just a test. And I don’t know where this last part came from. Who said you should meet people you don’t trust to have good intentions.

Well that’s new for me, but 1 you shall be able to distrust men and 2 personally if someone would threaten me with committing suicide I wouldn’t care. Go do it if this is your best action, it’s your decision, not my responsibility.

Maybe I don’t get what you are saying. Are you suggesting that being upfront puts you in more danger than playing mind games?

I don’t get this one either. Men are threatening you by committing suicide if you don’t trust them?

Stop playing hard to get, and make no actually mean no, and not I say no but I mean maybe. If you mean maybe say maybe. This makes the guys go for it even if you said no, they are hoping for the best that you are just playing hard to get. I mean many of those guys who “don’t take no for an answer” are not those toxic people who want to force themselves on you. They think like ok she said no, I know women sometimes play hard to get and actually don’t mean no just want to test me, so I show her I …

What keeps you from distrusting men?

I don’t get what you mean by this one. Put every men in prison or what?

See? If it is not so blatantly obvious, you can’t tell it as a rule. It depends on the situation whether you like my energy and presence or not. So that’s why you can’t have strict rules on what is ok or not because for one guy it is OK to grab you by the hip and take you to dance after a minute or two whilst other guys touching your hand after 20 minutes would count as harassment.

Well not rape it is obvious but where is the line between being flirtatious and sexual harassment. Like we just met we are in a conversation I slightly touch your hand as a sign of interest. Do you take it as harassment or sign of confidence? How am I supposed to know how you will feel about that before I do it?

What is your suggestion? How do you keep men behind fences?

Doing everything in your power doesn’t mean you can stop ill intentions towards you. You are somewhat confusing becoming a victim and being responsible for it. Like at the zoo. An animal attacks you you become a victim. Well did you skip the safety fence to take a good selfie and you got attacked through the cage or an animal escaped and you happened to be closest to that event. First you are responsible second you are not. Once I left my belongings unattended at a party with strangers and it go…

Well the other option is going out and teaching wild bears not to attack people. Well good luck with that. Like the “teach men not to rape”, well we know it, we all know it and surprise those who commit ill intentions they know it too and do it anyway, cause they don’t care.

Instead of woman say the other person and correct. Anyone’s job is to tell if the other person is dangerous

Exactly I told you we have the same values. Nobody wants to accept these violent people. Being prepared is not accepting them. Being prepared is accepting the fact they exist but not them. The problem is you can’t tell if someone an evil doer or not before they commit something. Only after that can you remove them. And before that you shall be prepared for your own safety.

I am not taking sides. I am not saying if a woman is attacked during night the perpetrator shouldn’t be punished for it is a woman’s fault for going home alone in the dark. Why would I want that for my female relatives and friends? What I am saying is there is danger out there. Men and women face different dangers, but need to be prepared and see if they were acting as world demanded. As I mentioned same as going in the wilderness without any preparation. If I went for a walk deep in the woods a…

I think we have same values but different solutions. I mean for example in medival times you couldn’t protect your country and people by not being ok another army invading you, you needed to build castles and forts and have your own army. Same goes here you need to build your own safety against intruders as much as possible.

Basically if you are hurt in a circle of trust and safety, it is treason and there is no responsibility question there. Responsibility question comes up when dealing with the outside world. Sleeping with the guy you just met or going home alone in the dark as in the original post.

Yes but there is no victim blaming when a relative attacks the woman as far as I know. Like a father raping his daughter nobody says she was too seductive towards her father. If this terrible thing happens her responsibility is to leave the toxic environment and society’s responsibility is to help her to be able to to that for example with those safe houses for women.

Nope, but knowing the possible danger calling a taxi, boyfriend, father, brother etc would be responsible. Same as going in the wilderness you take something against attacking animals.

To make it clear same goes for men. For example gold diggers. You accept the attention of a type of women who wanted to do nothing with you before you had money. She tricked you and took half of you wealth that you worked for decades? Yes you made a choice knowing that the world works like that. Be responsible and deal with it.

Responsibility means you accept the consequences of your choices and don’t start blaming others for not having your assumed outcome. Sleeping with a man on the first time you met him either means you are OK with just sleeping around casually and having fun without any commitment, or he lies about commitment. Just because you assume he will fall for you during the night don’t start blaming him. Either you communicated one night stands are OK for you or you trusted someone you don’t know anything …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
