I was working so I couldn't respond until now. Shuffling goalposts. Your original definition of a government was "the legitimate use of force". Now you are defining it as the impossition of force without consent. Shuffling strawmen. I originally defined government as "a monopoly on the use of force within a geographical location", and when I said "government doesn't ask you first" I was merely stating a charcteristic of government. How is something I have not consented to (particularly the use o…

My possition is that without coercive enforcement, agreements requiring enforcement would not be possible. All agreements do not require enforcement, and there are more ways of enforcing agreements than a government. For instance: Social and/or economic ostracism, public ridicule, and even nonmonopolistic violence. Bothe NAFTA and the EU have courts to enforce treaty obligations. Yea and they AGREED on those courts. A government is someone who does not ask you first if you want to submit to thei…

I pointed out that socialism was based on The labor theory of Value from 150 years ago (implying that socialism is not a valid ideology to believe in). Your implication is false. Marx's writtings where intended as a criteque of the economic theories of his day, thus his use of the prevailing theory of value is valid as it was the prevailing theory. As newer theories have emerged, newer writters have critequed them. A proper argument to "socialism is not a valid ideology to believe in" should con…

Left is Socialism. OP claimed to be left (therefore socialist). I pointed out that socialism was based on The labor theory of Value from 150 years ago (implying that socialism is not a valid ideology to believe in). I said this with the not so obvious goal of converting OP to Anarcho-Capitalism, because all other ideologies are not logically valid. As long as one is thinking logically, they will eventually come to Anarcho-Capitalism as their political ideaology or a framework to build upon(or bo…

Wearing a condom is not a gaurantee as sperm has been classified as a "gift" in courts, so literally, your sperm belongs to the woman and she can do whatever she wants with it. It's only a matter of time before a woman charges a man disposing of a condom with theft (and probably forced unwanted abortion as well).

I have mixed feelings about this. When I was in the marine corps I had a gunny who was a woman and I feel she went way to far to prove that she was worthy of leading male marines to the point of being extremely abrasive to morale. I am sure there is a happy medium of assertiveness from the women (although I am not sure of the specifics the CO was instilling in her marines).

Germano's tactics, for example, dramatically improved range qualification rates for female recruits. Don't think I don't see those pizzaboxes in the background.

At least you tried to do a search so you didn't look like as big of a fool, but you failed to address what I stand for adequately. I didn't have to do a search because I actually listened to what you had to say, and I just assumed that you were centrist based on your lack of providing foundational principals to your argument (because centrists base everything on their own subjective experience), and I accused you of leftism because of your appeal to emotions and not reasoning or logic. (btw I di…

Oh, and where do I fall on the political landscape? I think you consider yourself a centrist. Centrists base everything they believe on "going in the middle of the extremes" which is always based on ones own subjective experience and nothing more. Stop talking out of your ass every time that someone made a better point than you did. More Meta-analysis feelings based arguing. You might consider yourself a centrist but you are a dirty fucking lefty and you don't even know it.

Your line of thinking is completely wrong where you place blame based on the gender of the offender, and I will never ever support that. Did you not read what I fucking said? The man gets murder charges, but what I am trying to focus on is the unseen - the utter lack of criticism toward women and single moms especially when it's possible that their reckless behavior is damaging their own children.

Should our first thought be And theres your problem. This is not a centrist subreddit. This is MensRights. I pointed out this story to show the rampant pedestal placing we do for women, and this shit needs to stop. It's time women got some fucking criticism.

Chess Player here (USCF ~ 2100) and I can vouch that there is no sexism in chess. Women have their own sections often and there just aren't that many women in chess. Judith Polgar actually thinks that women shouldn't have there own sections to play in because keeps them away from playing better players (who often are male) And btw I lost to a 9 year old girl when I was 23 and 2000 rated. So they are by no means lacking talent!

Any man that would beat a child to death is obviously mentally ill. That's a cop out and necessarily true. It's possible that the man was mentally ill just as it is possible the woman was mentally ill, but to assume that is nonsense. cop out? I don't get it. To respond to your argument that he is not necessarily mentally ill just because he handcuffed and beat a child to death for eating a piece of cake, I say that yes he is because he thought detainment and brutal corporal punishment were valid…

Any man that would beat a child to death is obviously mentally ill. This woman specifically chose this man to reward with her sex and she forced her son to be in the same hostile environments that she likened. (btw, single mom, so this is probably a cycle) There is a minority of men out in the world that literally should not have children (just like there are some women who should not have children), the problem is that women like this are actively seeking these men out, the same as if they were…

No decency left ? Ok, what is decency and why does not having clothes while bike riding make you not have it? Also, by the way you are speaking, I am assuming you support an institution of murder that would cage or kill anyone who does this. Now, given my former assumption, I believe that any definition of decency that you could come up with would involve some form of hypocrisy on your part, unless of course you define decency as "DO AS I FUCKING COMMAND!!", in which case I believe people of a f…

Erections are involuntary. You can get one while feeling aroused or thinking dirty thoughts just like you can get happy while thinking about kittens and such, BUT it can happen entirely against your will and you cannot voluntarily stop it. It is not as simple as raising and lowering your hand.
