Guys that get friendzoned read thisDebating wasn't my goal though...I was more focused on sharing viewpoints. This conversation would have gone much differently if I was actually focused on convincing someone that my viewpoint is correct, which I wasn't. Jesus, everything doesn't have to be a competition all the time, does it? ಠ_ಠ | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 04:54 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisHahahaha. Actually, I guess I am pretty nice, just not in the stereotypical nice girl way. I'm too domineering to actually be a "nice girl", but if you added up all my actions, I think I'd qualify as nice if like nice/mean actions were like upvotes/downvotes and you had to get an arbitrary number to be considered nice. | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 03:07 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisOh, I don't feel like things are heated at all! I'm just shitty at replying to posts that replied to me. I make my replies too long and shit gets all convoluted. But yes, I agree with what you're saying (except I'm not really a nice girl, but I think I do a decent job of making people think I'm a nice girl long enough that when they realize I'm not that nice they'll see other redeeming qualities so that they won't want to leave) I am just so good at not being articulate. | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 02:36 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisAll right, I should be doing homework right about now, so I'm not gonna spend time explaining why I disagree with most of the things you disagreed with me on (see, it's gettin kinda circular here), but if the girl won't admit to herself that the guy hangs out with her because he's attracted to her, does she really "know" that he's attracted to her? Can we really call that "knowing"? Sure, she may realize it on some level, but if the guy doesn't explicitly tell her that he thinks she's attractive… | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 02:32 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisYeah, I agree that it's a bad idea if you're going for quantity But I maintain that if you're looking for quality, it can be a very good thing. Like I said before, from what I know, most people in this subreddit are looking for sex rather than relationships (I don't know how accurate that is; it's just my impression), and if that's true, of course it's better to just move on. | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 02:10 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisShit, well, basically, I just disagree with your arguments. I don't think those two sentences are contradictory. I also don't think this: "But it's wrong, mainly because the amount of time it takes you to 'know the person well enough' is highly variable " makes any sense. It's wrong because it's variable? Also, knowing someone well isn't based on attraction to that person, so...man, I don't think that's how life works. I don't think we're gonna reach an agreement here. Giving them hope is just f… | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 02:07 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisHow did he communicate his feelings? The general consensus is that asking out for a date is probably the best way to go about it, "I loooove you, love me back please" thing doesn't work out usually... Honestly, I don't think answering this will give much insight to anyone else because it's kind of a very specific situation. (And yes, he was just a regular friend at first). Basically, he made subtle hints that he liked me at first, before we were even friends. First day I meant him, he told me he… | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 01:52 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read thisYou're doing the same thing as the reassuring stupid women who tell their girlfriends that guys who treat them like shit actually love them but are afraid to commit That's not the same thing at all! And it's not that women will just give in either. Of course it doesn't always work like that, and that's not exactly an accurate portrayal of my situation either. I didn't "just give in"; I actually found myself more attracted to him the more I got to know him. Then again, I guess I am kind of an exc… | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 01:41 AM
Guys that get friendzoned read this4 years ago, I friendzoned my boyfriend. However, he continued to make it clear that he was interested in me. I decided I did in fact like him that way. And now we've been together 4 years. I know this community (I really never come here, but I'm subscribed so I don't miss out on this kinda crap) mostly isn't looking for long term relationships, but if you are, I think some of the best relationships develop out of friendships first. If my boyfriend hadn't made it clear that he was interested in … | /r/seduction | 08/03/12 12:49 AM
