And yet bodybuilding also existed in the 50s. “Physical Culture” was a trend decades earlier than that. And as previously mentioned, there were statues of dudes with genuinely impressive physiques from antiquity. Meanwhile most people aren’t body builders, women aren’t seeking that out in a significant fashion. There’s no sarcasm in that statement either. If someone wants to look like that, they absolutely can, it doesn’t require steroids or any insane effort.
