Unless they're feeling threatened, anyone who ghosts is a piece of shit. I 100% agree. I've been ghosted and it feels horrible. I've never ghosted anyone. (I suspect I've been horrible in other ways though.) Being on the receiving end of ghosting can be a real mind f$*k, especially if you over-invested emotionally. That's the biggest takeaway I have from that experience. If I feel like the entire relationship disappearing overnight would cause too much of an emotional hit, then I better ratchet …

Ms Bekiala, I guess my main thought is that, being a bit of a science groupie concerning fields that contain quantifiable data, some of the wording in the OP just seems awfully fuzzy to me. Granted, I am certainly guilty of fuzzy wording myself sometimes. Not always the case, but many times "throwing some numbers" at a problem can be helpful, if done in a systematic manner.
