I know a guy like this exactly. Super misogynistic, decent looking but not especially attractive, and under average height (probably 5’6”). Yet he gets women (not to mention cheats on his girlfriend constantly) — I have to believe because he just shotguns it, is more confident than he should be, and isn’t phased at all by rejection. He’s shown me how he messages girls on IG with basically zero game, simping over them without even getting replies. But 1 out of 100 like the attention enough to sle…

If just anybody could make a woman come, they would be less selective, thus reducing evolutionary pressure. In the state of nature, men have nothing to lose from sex (other than potential STD risk). Women have nine months and a large amount of resources to lose, so evolution requires them to be more selective. This is probably why you never hear of women raping men.

OP, your issue was talking about this on a date. Sounds super weird and creepy. If this matters to you, keep doing it, but come on, have some common sense, buddy.

I think it’s alright as long as some people are still reproducing. China’s got too many people as it is, so reproduction shouldn’t be a high priority. Maybe as the population decreases, housing cost will go back down in the future, and it’ll even itself out. Sucks for this generation, but might be good for the next.

I literally cried in front of a girl last night and we hooked up like an hour later.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 06:05 PM

All of these are true. It’s also true that there are a lot of advantages men have. We can fuck around as much as we want and nobody — or hardly anybody — would call us a “whore.” Women get called that all the time, even when having a smaller body count than the men calling them that. Women are expected, outwardly or not, to do more of the housework, and take more care of the baby even when they work just as many hours, and often make more money, than their husband. And notice that in media, wome…

No, but if you’re one of the men women are attracted to, you can get away with being toxic.

I disagree with this. I care more about face personally, but whenever my guy friends are talking about a woman’s attractiveness, they pretty much exclusively talk about her ass, tits, and waist. Obviously they’re not gonna be talking about her if she’s hideous, but I almost never hear other guys say a girl is hot because “she has a pretty face.”

This is a very interesting perspective, because I would’ve expected the opposite prejudice. I think of men desperately seeking sex as pathetic, so I would lose more respect for a guy who just gets with other guys for sex rather than someone who actually has romantic feelings for their partners, especially since dick is so cheap. And as for women, I think most men agree they would rather a woman have a sexual history of romantic partners than hookups.

I think you’ve hit on it exactly, that receiving is seen as degrading. This is why most of our insults revolve around being either a slut (a woman who gets fucked a lot) or gay (a man who gets fucked). That’s obviously not to say that lesbians (especially butch lesbians) don’t get their fair share of shit thrown at them, but people really have this disgust around someone being on the receiving side of penetration, man or woman.

This is true. I remember in high school and early in college, I would take a nice girl out on one or two dates and expect to end up in bed together because I thought that’s how it always worked, I had this pride and thought I had to be “That guy.” I wasn’t that guy, not just because I’m not a gigachad, but because I wasn’t the right guy for those girls. It was me who often ended up breaking things off because they didn’t put out fast enough, and I thought they weren’t into me. Some girls, from w…

Everyone wants a partner who is successful, physically fit, and attractive. But if hating and ridiculing the opposite sex is how they have to motivate themselves (which I think, quite often, it is, for both men and women), then there’s nothing wrong with calling that out as toxic. Men want a woman who doesn’t JUST care about her looks to the point that she’s shallow; but we also don’t want a woman who’s ugly. People are allowed to have standards, and they’re allowed to compromise some of those s…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 06:07 PM

It’s called hormones. Men do it too, always saying they prefer a woman who’s loyal and dependable, but then dating (or cheating on their partner with) hot, shallow women who cheat and lie. Humans are terrible at partner selection.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 05:57 PM

Agreed. I feel like this argument is only made by women who are successful but not charming and would rather blame their lack of romantic success on their brilliance than take personal accountability.

Exactly! I have been poorer and probably stupider than most of the women I’ve dated because I don’t date bimbos. If a guy thinks women only want money it’s because he only notices the women who only want money.

Definitely depends on the crowd you hang out with. Jocks (the people who were athletic, attractive, and popular in school) tend to fuck around like crazy, both men and women. I think nerdy guys are upset by this because they know any woman could get sex if she wanted it, and assume that all women (even the nerdy, unattractive ones) go through a hoe phase. I’m not sure about the breakdown, but I know from talking to various women and men that this definitely is not all women. Lots of nerdy, unatt…

I try to interact with women more or less the same way I would interact with men. So even if you’re only talking to them because you’re horny, at least find a way to make it seem like you’re not; even better, find a reason to talk to them so that you’re not just trying to pick them up. If you don’t talk to guys randomly, maybe try doing that. It can only improve your social skills. Then you’re not just going up to women to talk to them; you’re going up to PEOPLE to talk to them.

Men who get laid a lot don’t want to commit because, as you said, it’s nice to not be tied down to one partner when you could have a bunch. This has always been the case, and I think only recently have more women started to feel this way as well, since gender roles are being abandoned. The men who don’t get laid a lot are pissed that women aren’t saving themselves for marriage anymore, because (since there’s pretty much a 1:1 ratio of men and women) they haven’t been able to have a lot of sex an…

Women might not chase average men, but that doesn’t mean average men need to chase women. I’m by no means a “Chad,” and I’ve had girls interested in me because I made interesting conversation and didn’t come off as super anxious talking to them. Again, if you go into any conversation with a woman thinking, “How can I get her to date/sleep with me?!” then you’re gonna overthink everything you say and come off as desperate. Honestly, you should leave him. Even if you really love him, the only way he’s gonna learn is if you make it clear to him that disrespecting women like that is not okay for him to do. My girlfriend used to say things like “Men are trash,” and it really disturbed me, because even though she made clear she’s not talking about me, I’m not okay with being called “the exception” while she disparages all other men. To be fair, you can really only hold her to that standard if you hold yourself to that standard as well. I think it’s normal for anybody to find someone aside from their partner more attractive; hell, we can’t all land tens. What’s important is knowing that she’s at least very attracted to you and is faithful. But are you actually dating your “#1 choice” or are you dating the best option available?

I consider myself an average guy, and I do okay for myself. I’m not super in shape, super masculine or serial killer charming, and I’ve been in multiple relationships with women who weren’t fat or ugly, and still been the one to break it off several times. I think most guys have had a gay thought before. Just like most women have probably thought about being sluts and fucking a bunch of guys. You can act on it if you want, nothing wrong with that. But my opinion is, don’t do something that you have to lie about to someone you love. If you want to try gay shit, then maybe that means settling down with someone who doesn’t care about that. If you want to sleep around a lot before you find your person, settle down someone who’s fine with it. But don’t…

I think the anti-black / pro-white bias is largely because of income. Asians are just small, and men be creepy like that. Also, I read some OkCupid data and it said Asian men were pretty low on the desirability scale—but they were very strongly preferred by Asian women. So, kind of a blessing and a curse.

Well, you need chaos to progress. And it’s a good thing that people aren’t forced into a conservative lifestyle. What sucks, though, is that in a pluralistic culture like ours today, it’s forced on all of us, even when we don’t want chaos! Ideally, I think people should be able to find the right lifestyle for them and sort themselves into social groups that reflect that lifestyle and culture. This is true if you either have never dated a woman, or have only dated women who expect you to pay for everything. This is certainly not true for all relationships in the modern world, speaking from experience. Are all relationships transactional? In a broad sense, yes; you’re staying with someone for benefits they can give you in exchange for benefits you can give them, whatever those benefits may be. But you don’t have to be a nerd about it.

I fucking hate this argument that men and women both use, just made to make people insecure and paranoid about their relationships. Not all women lie about this kind of thing, and not all men do, either. Some people have a moral compass, and will be honest with their partner about their past if it matters to their partner. Not judging casual sex or prostitution, but don’t lie about it if you consider yourself a decent person.

We all have delusions about what makes us more attractive to the opposite sex. Women focus on jewelry and makeup instead of working out, and men try to get big muscles when what we should really be doing is trying to maintain a healthy weight and working on our social skills/hobbies. That is most dudes, at least most dudes who can get laid regularly, because most dudes have zero standards when it comes to sex but fairly high standards when it comes to a relationship. You don’t need to be a chad to get women to hook up with you; you need to be a chad to get a lot of attractive women to hook up with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/22 08:00 PM

I agree. I mean, everyone has their own definition of promiscuity, “long-term relationship”, and “high” body count. I think it’s perfectly normal to date someone for 8 months- 2 years and then break up because it wasn’t working out.

I know multiple couples who are literally waiting till marriage to have sex! It may not seem that common, but especially in the South/Midwest, it’s still a goal for some people, and they’re okay with waiting.

Uh, it sounds like a pretty good deal to me. You date with no expectations, might get a faithful woman (who hasn’t slept around a lot) at the end of it, while you’re not exclusive for a considerable time, so you can still have sex with other women? The only reason this would be unappealing is if you literally only care about dating women to get sex.

Honestly I can’t say for sure without knowing the full context of your relationship. I think a lot of Red Pill “tactics” are just common sense taken to an extreme; don’t be needy, weak, or desperate are all decent advice for men when it comes to elevating their own perceived attractiveness. First off, I don’t think there’s any shortage of guilt tripping men within the feminist movement. I try to keep a distance from those people. I don’t know the specifics, but I think it’s a valid argument that if it’s cheaper/safer, men should step up and get the procedure if they want to have lots of unprotected sex. I personally always use a condom and am pretty much fine with that at this point in my life, so I really have no reason to get a vasectomy.

It is a shame. Women don’t care about men anymore, and men don’t care about women. Everybody’s coping by climbing into our little echo chambers of fellow men or fellow women who share our resentment. That doesn’t mean you have to change, though. What would the romantic girl you want do? Don’t settle. Keep searching for her.

First off, I think it’s incorrect to say that women are not bitter about their relationship status while men are. From the way women talk to each other, I sense a lot of resentment towards men from unsuccessful women, just as unsuccessful men hold resentment against women. When it comes to violence, though, I think men are more easily radicalized towards violence because A) it’s in our culture, and B) it’s in our nature. Most of the women I’ve dated have been financially independent and also super submissive in bed, so I don’t think it’s all that uncommon. My case for it is that you will probably want to settle down, and you will likely be limited to other people who have slept around a lot, since they’ll be the most comfortable with it; not necessarily bad, just something to keep in mind. If you do settle down with someone who hasn’t had that lifestyle, they may grow to hold it against you because they feel they’ve missed out. If you want to be respected for something other than your looks, then yeah, you have to be good at something. That has nothing to do with being a woman, though. There are plenty of men who are also good at nothing, and I’d say they have it even worse, since they don’t even have sexuality to fall back on. Here’s an old adage my dad taught me: A man with no skills is worth nothing. A woman with no skills is worth having sex with. Kinda fucked up, but it’s true.

I think it’s just important for people using these apps to understand dynamics of how they work. Women need to understand that they get a lot of likes because a lot of men swipe on literally anybody, and “100 people liked me” doesn’t translate to “100 people want to date me.” Men need to understand that just because a woman has lots of sexual partners, that doesn’t mean she has low standards and she’ll absolutely want to hook up with you. I agree that people are more selfish nowadays when it comes to relationships, and I think there are reasons for that. With women’s liberation and the mainstreaming of feminism, women’s attention shifted more towards themselves than their partners; I’m not in any way saying this was a bad thing, but that it had the consequence of creating a generation of women who are more self-focused. Whether a woman is attractive is not the determining factor of whether she’s having sex. Unlike most men, most women could be having casual sex if they want to, but I think y’all are gravely overestimating the amount of women looking for casual sex. I figured it was because, if they’re fucking each other as well, you’re all sort of on the same level, so you know that the threesome isn’t “at your expense” in their minds; just some good old three-person sexy funtimes. As a man, I hate the idea of dating a girl who has fucked two straight guys at once, because I feel like those two guys wouldn’t then date her afterward, which I guess in my mind lowers her SMV or something.
