Nice to get an impression on the guy they are hating on. He seems quite sensible and doesn't dis the protesters even after the trouble they've been trying to cause him. 4:05 reminds me of when I got banned from another sub a while ago for saying that I think men should have rights too. When I asked the mods the what the problem was they just started sending me abusive messages similar to what this girl did. But it's not always so easy to predict what will happen in a tense situation, I feel that this kind of attitude will encourage people use force when they really didn't need to. Your mindset outlines the exact problem I'm talking about, you quickly conclude that violence is the only way to resolve a conflict without even considering other options. The would be assailant may not be taking things as far as you're about to, or may not even been a threat at all but end up becoming a victim of your militant philosophy, e.g. shooting of Trayvon martin. Escalation, revenge and pre-emptive attacks don't make the world a better place, they make it worse.

Agreed. Americans don't seem to understand that violence just causes more violence in an endless, vicious cycle. Agreed. I stopped going to the cinemas some years ago. 7.1 speakers and a 1080p supported panels are cheaper than ever and I can just download full hd movies with out having to leave the house. Most of the cinema industry doesn't even bother with new technology, for instance, they still screen films @ 24 frames per second, and that's been the standard for decades.

Without going over too many of the details, I had a very abusive mother who had me arrested a few times and taken to court over a trivial malicious damage charge, the police were more than happy to take her side and didn't give a shit about what I had to live though. If the gender roles were reversed, I feel things would have been quite different.
