Fake. And lame.

Seems like you're stuck in a lot of mental gymnastics/anxiety/insecurity. Chicks can smell it. You've obviously got the work ethic to succeed at this; you need to overthink these things less. Are you social with your friends?

Then we are in agreement :) No worries. For what it's worth, your anecdotes are better. :)

I think you're missing what, exactly, I'm arguing. You called out intjpua for messy reasoning and gave yourself an exaggerated pretense to neat, clean, "factual" logic. It was silly because you were guilty of the same. That's it. I don't know or care whether hot chicks use OKCupid. I'm sure some do.

A self-selecting, tiny sample-sized, highly-biased group of personal anecdotes? Color me convinced!

Agree. I think the fundamental premise of OP's post -- move all OKCupid discussions elsewhere -- is a bit off-base. I recognize it's a tool, and for some people (small towns, busy schedules) it's an exceedingly useful one, and is basically a compromise and not a dodge. And, it's not going anywhere. But pretty much everything important happens off OKCupid and I'm with you (and OP) that's it worth reminding people of that.

Uh huh, just as I said: your [anecdotes] are just "extrapolating your experiences" and regurgitating self-promoting blog posts which we've all seen plastered all over Reddit. I'm sorry if my significantly higher threshold of skepticism is distressing.

OP, while maybe a bit inflammatory, has a point and has clearly struck an interesting nerve with the r/Seduction community. It seems to me that a number of people in this thread would rather bed a woman by any means necessary than fight the broader battle of overcoming their social anxieties. Unfortunately, it's my belief that this is pretty short-term/instant-gratification thinking and isn't conducive to lifestyle change/improvement. And this is what "seduction" is for me -- it's not limited to…

And the rest of your post was just you extrapolating your experiences and trying to pass off anecdotal ideas as fact. This is an absolutely baseless criticism -- you're exactly the same. And no, citing self-serving non-scientific "studies" by the service in question doesn't count as "factual".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
