The one and only most singular truth I've seen in this subreddit. Thank you!

We wouldn't recommend it, but if you feel it is necessary, sure, go ahead.. but after that, don't press on any convo, just be indifferent toward her.

Sounds like you're trying to find excuses to keep your hopes up. It's a good thing to not downplay yourself, but like others have said, take the attention off her for a little while and channel that into other girls and properly interacting with them (yes, ignore her totally; unless of course she asks you a question and then you can reply and then turn your attention somewhere else). You'd soon find that she would eventually be drawn to you and not the other way around.

Don't know how the atmosphere is in your town, but if it's as small as I'm imagining it to be, my advice is, "just say hi". You don't have to force to impress, and it would be good to keep the 'wanting to get laid' mentality on the down low for the first couple of meetings(unless of course she pushes for it). But the thing is, it can't get any worse. Just say hi bro! But I would like to know, are there girls your age in the town or just in your college?

Who knew trying to overcome societal anxiety would be viewed as harassment. What a time to be alive.

Why do you view it in such a manner? As though men only go after pretty girls as prey? I'd have you know that many of the female friends that men have are [often] facially unattractive because they are way more interesting and interactive than seemingly attractive girls. I don't know who hurt you, but it would help if you try to see the other side of the picture, if even just a little bit.

Looll calm. Don't blame them coz they've envisioned a life of fulfillment and peace with a person they feel like they'd love, and of course it starts with approaching the person. Lest of course you'd want to become less attractive, which I don't think you'd enjoy very much🌚. In any case though, I don't think they're entitled to, you're free to snub them at any time lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
